End Times Bible prophecy for beginners

Hey you're in the Bible too. "In the last days know that the spirit says mockers and scoffers will come."

You have to read the Bible to see what happens to them. I hope you change your mind before that time comes.

I hope you aren't trying to convert lots of people to your church before the end. Doesn't the Bible say that people will flock to the church of the antichrist? So if you've seen a recent rise in numbers at your local church and if these are indeed the end times that your holy book mentions, then it appears that you are in the church of the antichrist.

If I were you, I'd be worried.

Mocking and Scoffing are time honoured traditions, I'll thank you not to denigrate them.

Where's the laughing dog emoticon? Henry Kissinger? Is he even relevant anymore?

It's a fairytale written centuries ago, and every generation has several possible antichrists. When will you give up the ghost already?

Kissinger has been running policy of all Presidents since Nixon. He has far more power than ever. If you had been paying attention you would know that, everyone in Washington knows.

Since Christians have a poor history, I choose to direct you to the prophecies that have not yet come to pass, but seem to be beginning to line up.

This is Tyre, right? Tyre's going to be invaded by Nebuchadnezzar and never rebuilt, yeah?

If Bible prophecy is all wrong and only another false alarm, then you have nothing to worry about.

Okay, then.

Jesus Christ was tortured, beaten to a pulp, mocked and whipped to the point of mutilation that his skin was falling off in shreds. Then Jesus Christ suffered hours on a cross for you and then died.

My granddad had cancer for 9 years. Jesus had a bad weekend.
Lucifer is the father of every false religion on earth, and as hard as this may be to believe, UFO's gray aliens are his fallen angels.

This thread took rather a left turn there, didn't it? I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting to read that sentence when I started the thread.

Ask this in your own way, ask something like this, "Jesus Christ if you are the truth, this in spite of your followers that have hurt me, then help me believe. Teach me supernaturally by your Holy Spirit and prove yourself to me personally outside of churches made with walls. That is the best I can do today. Amen

If Jesus could prove empirically that he existed, then I'd certainly believe. If he's going to cast me into a lake of fire forever if I don't believe, it seems like the least he could do is give me a real reason to believe, no?

On the day that Jesus reveals himself to you supernaturally, you will cry, laugh, and experience supernatural love, supernatural peace and supernatural joy so powerful you will not be able to explain it with words alone. It is not a goose bump experience my friend, it is awesome supernatural experience that changes you and removes your doubt forever.

Sounds like temporal lobe epilepsy to me, I'm afraid. No, I think empirical proof is a much better idea.

NOTICE: Those of you who have 666 tattoos

I've only got 3 so far, so I've got a way to go as yet. Tell me, though, one of my tattoos has some dots - do they count as separate tattoos, or do they all count as part of the same one?

Since "Bio-implant" calculates to 666 just like "Satanic Mark" the bio-implant will most likely be the mark of the beast when the Antichrist rises.

"Calculates"? Are you going to start wibbling on about numerology now?

The number 888 is a good cover up for 666.

Or you can have an upside-down tattoo saying "this way up". Just be really supportive of the police.

HOWEVER NEVER EVER TAKE ANY TYPE OF BUYING OR SELLING BIO-IMPLANT OR TATTOO when it is required in order to buy or sell.

Out of interest - how are we supposed to eat in the future if we can't buy or sell things? 3 years is a long time to go without food or water. I suspect my landlord would appreciate it if I were to pay my rent every now and then, too.

Henry Kissinger
The Real Prime Minister of Israel?

By N. W. Hutchings & Carol Rushton

Israel Resource Review

Henry Kissinger's involvement with the Council on Foreign Relations and the New World Order has been well documented for many years. However, little is known to Americans of his role in the Middle East and how he has influenced the events there to help the New World Order gain control over this area of the world.

The late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin met Kissinger when he was the U.S. secretary of state and Rabin served as the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. from 1968-1972. Later, Rabin stated that Kissinger was his role model.

During the Yom Kippur War, Kissinger refused to supply much-needed arms to Israel unless Golda Meir resigned as prime minister and supported Rabin as the next Labor Party candidate for the post. At that time, Rabin had never even been a Knesset member and was listed far down on Labor's Knesset list.

I actually thought he was dead. :boggled: As for the rest, citations definitely needed.

And, um, you do realize that the United States is only about 5% of the world's population, don't you? Funny that the United States is never mentioned in the bible.....it almost seems like the writers thought the whole world lived in the middle east. You'd think that the omniscient creator might have known about all those other people living on other continents.

Welcome, Eschat!

The spirits and mockers have been around since day one, not much of a prediction, just what you can expect if what you're claiming doesn't hold up to scrutiny very well.

What would make you change your mind? How many more decades have to go by without the arrival of the end times before you conclude that you should consider alternative interpretations for Revelations?

For instance, perhaps Revelations symbolically describes the situation in Rome at the time it was written, with Nero is the Beast (check your numerology). John could write this about the Romans with little fear of execution provided he cloaked it in the language of prophecy. Just sayin' there's more than one way to read the thing.

What I want to know is why did Henry Kissinger want to destroy the World Trade Center?

Is he the evil mastermind behind all of these HAARP Earthquakes we've been having lately?

What do you think is happening in the world? Do you have hope after 6,000 years of failed history that man can keep from using nuclear weapons on themselves?

Even those in the new world order know that. That is whay they are trying to create an effective NWO, because without it man has no hope. That is their press not God's.

Even secular non believing scientists are saying the end is within 30 - 50 years if we don't change course. So go tell it to your fellow non believers: End of discussion. What makes people continue on past this? Ignorance? Will to believe? Hope for discord? Fascination with destruction?

They talk about it more than most Christians. Actually more than most Christians.

I realize people like you are emotionally crippled and have no idea what it's like to value the truth over cheap systems of circular logic that let you pretend whatever you want, but I thought I'd let you know something. You mean well, outside of your desperate need to assert that the spiritual pacifier you can't stop suckling upon is real, I realize that's probably true. So here's a token bit of advice you may think back on if you manage to grow up and not hurt yourself.

Human rights are better than they have ever been in the last six thousand years, and the quality of life as well is improved for more humans than ever before. Violent crime is lower than it's been since the surge in the 1960s, the world is better off than it's ever really been. We've got some major issues to overcome, but it's feasible we can. And we've been going no other direction but up so far.

Once we overcome the technical and political issues, all we have to do is avoid the diseased and feeble minds (that seek an end to this life in favor of some make believe paradise) from using the weapons of mass destruction mankind has created. Isn't that ironic?

The person warning us is actually what we should be most worried about.

Your kind. You.

Your superstition is what should be outgrown, and hopefully we as a society get beyond the childhood and teenage years of a civilization without doing something stupid like slitting our metaphoric teenage wrists due to emotional hysteria.

I hope one day you learn to overcome these problems, and you are "blessed" with the clarity of vision to understand and improve and take part in the world with the rest of us.

Your response suggests you didn't read my post:

I bet that bastard gave Hitchens cancer then, with his cancer powers.

As others have said, mockers and scoffers have always been around. And for 2000 years, they've been right to question the veracity of anybody who claimed the end of the world was right around the corner. How many generations have to come up with antichrists and gruesome predictions of the apocalypse, before people quit using the bible as some sort of truthful prophesy? It's utter garbage.

As far as what happens to scoffers and mockers in the bible, I'm going to guess it has something to do with limbs torn asunder, gnashing of teeth, fire and brimstone, a good old fashioned gang-raping, and whatever other atrocities the bible god dishes out to his "lovely little creations" with alarming regularity. Can you smell my fear? :)

If you really did that, even if you did not mean it. Jesus will help you mean it as well as save you. REALLY

I did do it, and I did mean it. But as I said, nothing happened. Jesus didn't save me.

What should I do next?

That's the topic of another 500 reply post. That is partially true, but Nero has nothing to do with the endtime prophecy of 666 anymore than the incomplete fragment copy of 616 does. It is all smoke and morrors to keep you distracted from the truth that is being revealed now. I will post on that later this week, otherwise this topic is going to get so off topic it will be pointless to continue.

Gosh, I better believe because this is the first time ever in the history of the forum has someone posted something like this.

Or, more likely, this is the same nonsense that's been posted 666 times in the past.

Eschat, you tell us nothing new and there are a few people here who probably know the bible better than you. So, if you would like to discuss this then pick what you believe is the main point of your post and we can start there. As it is, you aren't going to get a very positive response by trying to preach at us.

Know the Bible? Sounds like a Jewish argument used against Jesus by the teachers of his time.

We've had them for over 60 years and only used them on each other once. Horrified, no one has ever done it since. I suppose terrorists might manage to get ahold of one and destroy a city, but the likelihood of nuclear armageddon is very small.

Even those in the new world order know that. That is whay they are trying to create an effective NWO, because without it man has no hope. That is their press not God's.

Lots of folks like to speculate about the end of the world as we know it. Some of them are alarmists about it. Yet century after century after century, the doomsayers predictions fail to come true. We haven't run out of food, fewer people go hungry than ever before. We haven't bombed each other into the stone age, the Cold War is over. We face difficulties, but we'll manage, because although we will skirt very close to the edge of a cliff, as a species we won't actually knowingly step off of it.

People in 1940 were looking at a much more likely doomsday scenario in the next 10 years than we are looking at now.

Someone once said worry is interest you're paying now for something you may never even borrow.

Oh yes, I remember this from a podcast, I think it was 'Reasonable Doubts'.

The number may actually be 616.

You know I already know and I have already told you. Jesus will save you even if you did not mean it and you didn't. So welcome to the family, he will save you in spite of you. ROFL ................ Really, I mean it, really.
