John hemenway, the lawyer in the Holister case has filed another petition to SCOTUS, even afeter they denied the first one.

A Colorado Springs man who claims to have records that proves Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate was forged could face criminal charges because he is alleged to have illegally accessed an online Social Security database.

Retired Air Force Col. Gregory Hollister impersonated Obama with the Selective Service and managed to get a card with President Obama’s Selective Service information on it, a blogger posted on gratewire.com last week. Hollister told the Colorado Springs Gazette that a private investigator gave him what is purported to be the president’s Social Security number and he then accessed the Social Security Number Verification Service to find out to whom it was issued and to access Selective Service documents.

Hollister told the Gazette that according to the Social Security Administration, that number was never issued, but that's the same Social Security number that appears on Obama's Selective Service documents.

Hollister said the Social Security number on what he says is Obama’s draft registration begins with the numbers 042, which would be issued to someone born in Connecticut, not Hawaii.

Which sounds more likely to you?

1) The "private investigator" scammed the colonel, or
2) Barack Obama gave a false Social Security number when he applied for selective service, knowing that he would later become POTUS and admitting a foreign birthplace at this point in his life would affect his eligibility?
 
Oh no he was born in Connecticut! That surely means the end of the world!
 
Birthers like to ignore the simple fact that in the old systems the state origin of a social security number was not based on the state in which you were born but on the state in which it was requested.

It is no wonder a birther would come in here to post about a long debunked conspiracy theory while calling it "interesting".
 
I had to /facepalm when I read how Hollister figured he had skirted around the law:
Hollister denied breaking any laws.

“I was very meticulous and made sure everything I did was compliant with the law,” Hollister said, noting that he sent Obama an 1099 tax form.

A 1099 is an IRS income reporting form for independent contractors and free-lancers. Hollister did not explain how sending that to Obama complies with federal laws on the use of Social Security data.

ETA: Not to mention, we've yet to see actual proof that the 042 number is even Obamas SSN. IIRC it was one of a handful, that came out of some private detective basically running every possible spelling variation of Barack Hussein Obama through a database (which even carried the warning that the data was not reliable), and then proclaiming that all of them had been used by Obama.

Nothing of the sort. It shows to what lengths that birthers will do (INCLUDING BREAKING THE LAW) to obtain evidence, that do not support their claims; then using that evidence as if it does.

Obama' SSN has been known since ORLY leaked it in her court filings that she posted to her malware infested blog site and her scribd account (BTW not redacting personal information LIKE Social Security Numbers is against the law and court procedures - then again, BIRTHERS like to break the law - Orly being fined $20K for her frivolous lawsuits)


The Connecticut SSN has been dealt with, in the VERY threads that you have been pushing your birther conspiracy theories, so you are KNOWINGLY lying and pushing LIES when you post articles that repeat that claim

06814 = Connecticut Zip Code
96814 = Hawaii Zip code that Obama listed as part of his address.

SSN applications were ALL hand inputted back in the day, so someone could have EASILY used 0 instead of 9 on the keyboard and the system spit out a Connecticut based number.

Easiest explanation of why he ended up with a 042 number

BTW, NO BIRTHER has ever established that Obama's SSN number was used or previously issued to anyone BUT Barack H. Obama II . Not Hollister, NOT even Orly Taitz. The SS Fraud came about because of a BAD data search using PUBLIC db's done by a "private investigator" Neil Sankey, for Orly Taitz

Actually as of 1973, SSN were based on ZIP CODE of the mailing address.

Easily can be placed in a record by mistyping the zip code for Hawaii as a zip code for Connecticut.

Oh his SSN number has been confirmed.. Orly's been flashing it around for the last year. It does match his selective service records (you can find a copy of his actual Selective Service Form that was filled out, in her filings)
 
In my day job I work with documents that have personal information on it all the time. We are not even allowed to have our cell phone at our desk, for fear that we might snap a picture of a doc. You can get in a enourmous amount of trouble and face criminal/civil penalties if you release personal information without authorization.

(Apr. 12, 2011) — Miki Booth has just reported via telephone to The Post & Email that a man born and currently residing in Hawaii went to the Department of Health this morning and requested a copy of his long-form birth certificate. He was refused, told that it was no longer available and that all he could obtain is the short-form document.

The man had obtained his short-form “Certificate of Live Birth” several weeks ago and reported to Miki that the request form had had two different boxes which could be checked: one indicating that the short-form was being requested and the other that the long-form was desired.

Today, the man reported that the form has been changed such that that choice is no longer available.
