Were explosions reported in the meridian plaza fire?
were explosions reported in the one new york plaza fire?

Yes to all three.

There are about 20 things in regular office buildings which explode when on fire.

Can you eliminate ANY of them?

Once you figure out prepositions, maybe you can move up to similes.

I've watched dozens of videos in which FFs mention explosions, and are advertised by twoofers as being "proof of explosives".

Feel free to cite quotations from FFs who noted explosions AND then called for the bomb squad.

Please provide the number of these, compared to the total number that mentioned explosions. Both of these numbers should be readily available from a word search of the Oral History project transcriptions. Of course, if MacQueen had been competent & unbiased, this info would have appeared in his papers.

Finally, "beliefs of the FFs" are just that: "beliefs". Aka: impressions, feelings, suspicions, gut feelings. All of which happened under extreme circumstances on 9/11.

The REALITY is determined from evidence, not "impressions".

How many times were the bomb squad called out? I've heard of a couple. In every case (with which I am aware), those calls turned out to be false alarms.

Reality trumps beliefs and impressions.

We had really no concept of the damage on the east side of 2 World Trade Center at that point, and at that point many people had felt that possibly explosives had taken out 2 World Trade, and officers were gathering companies together and the officers were debating whether or not to go immediately back in or to see what was going to happen with 1 World Trade at that point. The debate ended pretty quickly because 1 World Trade came down.

So eventually this other chief came back and
said, "They are evacuating this tower."

Similes and figures of speech are wayyyyyyy beyone his ability to understand.

Yes, Trifor, we know that the firefighters were providing their testimonies after the event. After the official story was soundly in place, and their impressions were reinterpreted for them.

Those quotes were merely to prove the bedunkers wrong about firefighters' impressions. Again.

And...(I shudder to think) can you source that beyond just typing into a message board?

A cursory glance would tell me that quote is even before the 2nd plane hit. Just a guess though. If so, it would pretty much eliminate it as being anecdotal evidence for explosions. Just more quote - mining.
