Enron

Alt+F4

1) Do you believe that there was widespread systematic accounting irregularities at worldcom involving many people?

2) Do you believe there were widespread systematic violations of investment law at Enron involving many people?

3) Do you believe there has recently been widespread false fillings of mortgage information information in the United States involving thousands of loan officers

If yes what mechanism accounts for this?
If your answer is "organized from the top" how is that different than what Chris preposes?

small squares

The first link is broken.

There is clearly quilting ie: sewn in small squares, on the jacket in the video which the coat he was wearing when arrested doesn't seem to have.

Danceme,

I fixed the link. I am afraid that I do not see the small squares.

I can't believe you guys really see all those details in those videos. I can say literally nothing more then there's a guy walking and he have a jacket and probably some shoes on, too. The video is awfully compressed (quilting = mpeg artefacts ? )

Oh pleease! Do you just say stuff like that to get digs in. This is a speculation on Rudy's behavior only. It's not the first time and there's been alot worse speculated to on this forum.
Each of us can only be responsible for what we write, not what others may choose to do.

That quite possibly is the #1 thing going against the FOAKers 'theory', if they could all get together and just write down all the people and things involved in this case where they lied, were corrupt or were incompetent, half of them would change sides once they saw how large the list was.

Except there is excellent evidence for the lies. For example court records conflicting with widespread press accounts. Video showing people doing X while they testify to something different.

In American courts if the defense can prove prosecutorial misconduct the case is not infrequently thrown out. This is the alternative.

unsavory

I can only conclude that the fact that necrophilia has been raised as a discussion point demonstrates just how little some people think about the murder victim or her family.

CoulsdonUK,

It is a very unsavory aspect of the case, but it is only slightly less unpleasant to discuss the knife wounds. Such topics need to be addressed to discuss the case completely. If you have any suggestions about how to do it more sensitively, I am sure everyone here would be grateful. To the best of my ability to judge, no one here is unmindful of the tragic loss that the Kercher family suffered.

Here's a short list, just 25 people, who must have either lied, been incompetent (in either memory or professionalism) or corrupt in regard to AK and RS's conviction:

1. Stefanoni
2. Curatolo
3. Mignini
4. Kokomani
5. Capezzali
6. Quintavalle
7. Comodi
8. Napoleoni
9. Zugarini
10. Maresca
11. Battistelli
12. Brocci
13. Rosignoli
14. Monacchia
15. Dramis
16. Lalli
17. Finzi
18. Torricelli
19. Cristiani
20. Romanelli
21. Altieri
22. Trotta
23. Norelli
24. Profazio
25. Ceccarelli

So we are supposed to believe that all of these 25 people, most who don't even know each other, are wrong in regard to what they know about this murder.

All of them.

Chris C,

What about the white stripe that runs along the edge of many Nike Outbreak 2 shoes? Could that be what one sees in the video?

This is what I know/believe from looking at that video over and over.
The person was wearing a hood or helmet.
The sides of the shoes are white. The soles of the shoes are tan or medium tinted. The top front of the shoes is white.
The person appears to not be of african decent.
Possible the person is wearing either glasses or goggles. Though that could be the hood or helmet.

What I dont know. I dont know 100 percent what color Guedes shoes where. What color is the bottom of the outbreak 2 shoes guede owned? If the soles of Guede shoes are not medium/tan tint and the shoe itself light color to white. Then those are positively not his outbreak 2 shoes.

Can't fake a lie. Its either true or not true.

First of all, you forgot to add Gabriella Carlizzi

You of course think all of them are 100% right? Or could it be that some of them are mistaken? Or worse?

The first link is broken.

What your seeing on the jacket in both videos is the distortion from compressing the video and then blowing the video back up at a lesser quality.

I believe a discussion based on necrophilia is beyond the pale, wholly unnecessary. I can only write and speak for myself and as a married man with daughters and as such I cannot see absolutely any value in this topic. In addition, I find the justification that others have said worse weak to say the least. Here’s a rule of thumb whilst those of feel the need to discuss this subject think about your wives, daughters or mothers.

The defense says all 25 are wrong. I'm sure others could add to my list.

But are they wrong? Whether they claim 1 person is wrong or 10000 are wrong, are they lying about it. If I say 10 people in this case have lied, mislead or given incorrect responses would I be lying about that number or telling the truth? Your arguement is because the list has 25 people it must be incorrect because of the amount of people and therefore it must be a conspiracy theory. Were as my argument is show me the proof that they are not wrong. If all 25 are proven wrong is it still a conspiracy because its 25?

But are they wrong?

What are the odds of these 25 persons, most who don't know the others, all being wrong?

I only came up with a short list, how many more are there that have evidence to AK and RS guilt?

How common is necrophilia I wonder? I think it takes a particularly depraved individual to be still thinking about sex while his victim is gushing blood, making who knows what kinds of sounds or faces, and or perhaps just expired.

What is Necrophilia?

Necrophilia can best be described as sexual arousal stimulated by a dead body. The stimulation can be either in the form of fantasies or actual physical sexual contact with the corpse

This act is not Necrophilia. She was still alive when he started to undress her. If it was Necrophilia he would have undressed her after she already died. She may or may not have still been breathing before the assault was finished.

I agree sexually assaulting her after she already suffered a fatal wound was depraved. He was probably still in a very hyped up rage to do that. It explains tearing the bra off. He was still enraged at that point. If he wasn't he would have unfastened the bra or cut it off. He probably would have stopped altogether if he calmed enough to get a handle on what he had just done.

What evidence points to guilt?

No blood on 1 of atleast 2 proposed murder weapons, and an incomplete profile of sollecito. That is the evidence. Thats all the evidence that supports guilt. Evidence of someone not committing a crime isn't a crime. Evidence of someone living at a home isn't proof of her committing the crime.

Why ask about what the odds they are wrong are? However, are they wrong or are they not wrong? Thats what really matters. Who cares if its 25 or 25000. The real question is are they wrong? Because if all 25 are wrong does it matter what the odds are? If 24 are wrong and 1 is right, does that mean all 25 are right?

The family of the murder victim did not ask for this case to be handled privately. They were perfectly OK with a massive PR campaign. If in 2007 there were petitioning for a quick plea bargain so that everyone could get on with their lives that would be one thing. But they felt perfectly OK with a campaign on demonization. They like Mignini are unhappy this has turned into a fair fight with the defense actually hitting back in the public sphere. Usually the accused doesn't have a public network of support.

But... in cases like the murder of Konerak Sinthasomphone no one hesitated to discuss the sexual details of his demise. And that was a case where there was no doubt about the perp, nor any doubt he was getting a life without parole sentence. Meredith Kercher should be treated like any other murder victim. That means a certain level of respect, but not a respect that in any way endangers the due process of the accused. And I can understand that her family is devastated that their daughter died in a sexual related homicide. I can understand that they would like nothing better than to see Amanda, Rudy, and Raffaele taken about behind the courthouse and shot 2 years ago. I would feel exactly the same way in their place, except that frankly I'd want their deaths to be a lot slower.

It does seem that British and American standards are different here. For example Brits seem genuinely shocked that Americans can make movies about a case while the case is ongoing.

As for Necrophilia, I don't think a corpse deserves more respect than living people. Frankly necrophilia is 100x less offensive to discuss than rape. Rape involved a living, breathing, suffering woman. Necrophilia involves a piece of meat with human DNA. Dead people really and truly do not care.

Moreover the speculation is that the sex happened around the time of death. So all ordering of events need to be discussed. One of the reasons the prosecution was able to get away with presenting a rape / torture / murder that didn't correspond to any other rape / torture / murder in the last 400 hundred years was an over sensitivity walking through the details.

It amazes me that this brutal killer will apparently be paroled and back on the street in a few years.

Who Guede? According to the prosecution he just held 1 arm. It was knox that stabbed Meredith with 2 different knives and Sollecito who sexually assaulted Meredith. Guede was out clubbing when the sexual assault happened.
