...and yet... a lot of these buildings are coming --- what??--- straight down!

Don't worry, bee happy..
The problem is we are assuming that Ergo understand that the building is not a solid 47 story object. We are assuming that he understands all buildings are mostly open spaces, and that the actual material in those buildings will not total [HOWEVER TALL THE BUILDING IS] stories of mass. We are assuming he understands the "C" in "CD" is for CONTROLLED..in that they CONTROL the demoliton, and thus where the debris falls (the very reason for a CONTROLLED DEMOLITION). We are also assuming he understands that a professional CD IS DESIGNED TO fall within the building footprint and NOT TO DAMAGE OTHER BUILDINGS, and that it, in WTC7's case, the collapse would not leave a 47 story high pyramid shaped pile of rubble that would 'spill' into other buildings.
Wait...assuming logic and common knowledge...pretty dangerous when dealing with the twoof!!!!
So what does the phrase "to bring a building down into its footprint" mean to you? Where does the debris go?
Gee... I wonder... I wish I had some citation...
Oh... lets look at that one you provided.

Sometimes, though, a building is surrounded by structures that must be preserved. In this case, the blasters proceed with a true implosion, demolishing the building so that it collapses straight down into its own footprint (the total area at the base of the building). This feat requires such skill that only a handful of demolition companies in the world will attempt it.
Blasters approach each project a little differently, but the basic idea is to think of the building as a collection of separate towers. The blasters set the explosives so that each "tower" falls toward the center of the building, in roughly the same way that they would set the explosives to topple a single structure to the side. When the explosives are detonated in the right order, the toppling towers crash against each other, and all of the rubble collects at the center of the building. Another option is to detonate the columns at the center of the building before the other columns so that the building's sides fall inward.
I'm still waiting for Ergo to tell me....
1. If it wouldn't indicate a demolition if WTC7 or WTC1+2 simply fell over like a tree.
2. Why they wouldn't make the building fall over in that way, if it would make it look less like a demolition?

I've got a question for Ergo:
Did WTC1 crash into WTC7 as it fell?
You don't know the answer to this?
Fess, I do believe it was you expressing your disbelief at a certain bee dunker's argument? Or are you pretending now that wasn't your post?
