Body sarira (his body can not be burned in the cremation)
I found a stronger evidence about the immortality of body.
Here is a report about Mrs.Zhou Fengchen. Mrs.Zhou is a Buddhist. She was born in 11/2/1905 and passed away in 11/24/1992. After her passed away, her body stop rotting in weeks, then she has a Immortal body.
the buddha are supposedly trying not to be affixed to things and you marvel at the body.I found a stronger evidence about the immortality of body.

in them climates, no doubt. On 11/15/1997, Experts ........ may indicate that her body is still has a slow metabolism.
site that one. As to even have a few milligrams of tissue, that was alive, then died and the nucleus/cytoplasm (organellas within) are all gone, and the tissue is not damaged....................'that would be magic'Ten years later(2007 A.D.), professor Ji extracted a few small muscle samples from her. Test results showed from that slices made of the muscle taken out of the old lady's right leg , experts can not find a living cell, and can not find nucleus or cytoplasm in each cell either, each cell only has an outline.
key word....'known'Expert says this result shows that Mrs.Zhou passed away without any known medical preservative treatment.
Is that one acceptable?
the buddha are supposedly trying not to be affixed to things and you marvel at the body.![]()
like i said, they dont want the physical and yet this is your miracle. Build a pyramid and live for thousands of years in your "mass build up".

I would bet, if any of them monks (before dying) had sex for a few days, their metabolism would increase and perhaps a child could be born so the body left on the earth, would be alive (like cell division).
As for the stones, they could have been consumed to assist in digestion. Many critters do it.

I believe they cast many of the old teachers. I even walked into a krishna shop and started talking to one of them.
It's doesn't matter.
In Buddhism theory, "everything" is nothing in actually, so does the "body". But this does not prevent us to appreciate it , as well as appreciating art.![]()
In Buddhism, some senior monks, when cremating, rainbow and thunder will appear in sky;and after cremation they will leave all kinds of sariras. Some sariras are like gems, they are very strong that can not be smashed with a hammer; some have word or a statue above. And a kind of sarira is body sarira.Body sariras do not decay even past hundreds years(like Saint Bernadette); and even fire can not burn. Some body sariras will be gradually reduced or even completely disappeared.
How to explain?
I think human beings are like star beings. Some stars will collapse into white dwarfs;largers will explode as supernova and become neutron stars;and largest giants may become black holes. There maybe microstars in our hearts, they are growing through hard practice, and when they are dying, the energy will release out and then they can do some miracles? I guess...

It rarely outcropped a scientific paper that researching the immortal body in Buddhism. And it is remain a mystery for life science.
Here's an English language web page about Zhou Fengchen's body: http://www.xianghe.gov.cn/xh/files/ztlm/qrys/en/life.htm
Her face looks like the face of other mummies that I've seen, with the receded lips.
They considered after investigating the old lady in June, 1993 that it was the constant "vomiting and diarrhea", "cough with sputum" and 'drainage from the body surface" before her death that led to large amount of dehydration. They also held that the site where her body was placed i.e. by the side of a heater in a high room temperature in a dry environment was suitable to the evaporation of water from the body. These are the important reasons for the body to become dry. Like a mummy due to quick dehydration, the phenomenon of un-rotten body is understandable.
Sorry the AHB (Alleged Hisorical Buddha) never said that the world wasn't real ,they did state that the self (atman) was an illusion. The AHB acted, taught and encouraged practice that the world was real.
Characteristics do not extend to that which has no characteristics; nor to what possesses characteristics. They also cannot extend to something other than what either possesses or does not have characteristics.
If characteristics do not extend [to something] , something characterized would be impossible. If something characterized is impossible, characteristics too would not exist.
Therefore, something characterized does not exist and characteristics do not exist. There also does not exist a thing which is apart from being something characterized or a characteristic.
Therefore, space is not a thing; it is not a non-thing; it is not something characterized; it is not a characteristic. The other five elements too are similar to space.
Those of small minds see things as existent and non-existent. They do not behold the utter pacification of what is seen.
It is not a mystery, the immortal body does not exist, ergo, nothing to investigate.
The Dharma taught by Buddhas perfectly relies on two truths: the ambiguous truths of the world and the truths of the sublime meaning.
Those who do not understand the division into two truths, cannot understand the profound reality of the Buddha’s teaching.
Without relying on conventions, the sublime meaning cannot be taught. Without understanding the sublime meaning, one will not attain nirvana.
Those for whom emptiness is possible, for them everything is possible. Those for whom emptiness is not possible, for them everything is not possible.
There are differences between the ambiguous truths and the truths of the sublime meaning.

I'm sorry that many profound truth is difficult to be explained clearly for my limited knowledge.
Key question: Are you a shark? What does the phrase 'sublime meaning' mean? I can shoot laser beams out of my eyes.Do you believe that, and should a scientist investigate it?
