This Fox News article got my attention

Fox News: Shaping reality so that you don't even have to decide.

I like the comments. It looks like the "Social Justice" meme by the the right wing has been chiseled into the fox news watchers brains. Please tell me this one is a Poe though
I was pretty easy going until Obama appeared. Now I hate blacks and spend a lot of time studying and coming to the conclusion that a country should consist of at least 85% the same race and religion.

How many "thumbs up" or whatever that site happens to use did it receive?

Obama made me racist. That's a new one. I imagine "spend a lot of time studying" = joined the stormfront forums. I really doubt it's Poe after viewing his profile and seeing the other comments he's left lol.

Just to pick the nit, Fox Nation isn't Fox News exactly. It's more Fox News's online community building attempt.

And they have the greatest poll ever "Greatest President: Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, or other" Washington was barely beating Reagan.

I find it interesting that there are 9 responses here so far...with none commenting on the content of the news article.

Most of the responses here are just people bashing FOX News...why is that??

even though, as one poster pointed out, this is actually a linked article from Politico.com

now back to the original post...

I do find this news interesting, and even more interesting is how many Obama supporters are against faith-based government spending, but are quite silent about this.

I'm not an Obama supporter. I am an Atheist. And I fail to see how "Stimulus" money being spent this way helps stimulate anything in the economy...and it seems to blur the needed line between government and religion.

It's a linked article from Fox Nation, which is hosted at foxnews.com. The article itself links to Politico site, that actually has the whole article.

What was specifically notable for me was the notion that Politico (the site) is "Left-wing".

That Obama has continued faith-based initiatives is old news to us pinko atheists. Now he did do some changes to the program to make it more tolerable to us, but it's really nothing new.

As for stimulating aspect? The politico article lists things like building upgrades. Presumably with US made goods...

Many of the comments on the page of the article support your team. Should I assume you march in lock step with them?

My team? I don't see anyone bashing communism, fascism, radical Islam, or slavery in this thread - to name a few of my pet peeves.

At any rate, no. You shouldn't assume that. You should assume, however, that all the habitual Fox-bashers will march into every Fox-bashing thread en masse and in lockstep.

I wonder what came first. Liberals bashing fox news in lockstep or fox news bashing liberals in lockstep?

As for spending money on faith based initiatives I think it stinks.

The ones that thought The Onion's piece on "Obama's 75,000 word rambling email to America" was real.

If there is free beer offered you bet beer drinkers will show up.

And yes, the thread is about Fox News (and it's "community") describing Politico.com as "left-wing".

What do you say to that, Mr Nolockstep?

I think it's a silly little weenie thread.
