Not to mention any detonators, fuses, det cord, etc.

Not does it change a small physical property called gravity. Thermite has a startling tendancy to operate in a downwards direction. Only in very small quantities, in very specialist devices has it ever operated sideways.

So how does all of this stuff get applied and wired up without anyone noticing, in a country where so many of the adult male population had seen recent military service?

As I poionted out in another threat ("This proves smoething, but what?) there are signs that localized collapses were producing puffs of dust long prior to global collapse. The gif shows dust and smoke merging from the same floors without any global perturbations of the smoke. I would attribute this, also, to local failures of floor slabs, as opposed to HE, because HE would have over-pressuized the entire floor.

This is an excellant illustraion of how the failures occurred in a cascading order in fire-damaged areas which would be destructive to explosives because of high temperatures.

Videos of 9:03AM do not show this. They show a plane gliding smoothly into a steel building, as if the steel exterior beams of the south face of WTC 2 didn't provide any resistance.
 
The dust came first. The dust exploded outwards, upwards and sideways. Most of the building was turned into dust before it fell. You can find images of some parts of the building turning into dust on the way down, too. VERY STRANGE!

Believing the official plane crash conspiracy theory is hard work. You end up with a lot of bandaids plastered all around to patch up the inconsistencies.

You do know that the dust is just pulverized concete & drywall & not something that you'd consider "dustification of steel".

You've got alot to learn girl.

There is no dust in my gif while the building is moving. All the dust comes after the movement of the upper half of the towers.

Now you're just intellectually dishonest. If dust came first, you would see it puff then move. Not the other way around. In a controlled demolition, you see the explosion, and then the building begins to move. This is not shown in the video evidence. It clearly moves before any dust appears.

The poofing began at the very beginning of the destruction sequence.

In fact, the poofing was going on inside the building BEFORE the towers fell. Look at the images. Especially look at the images of WTC 1 immediately after WTC 2 fell. You will note two distinct colors of fumes/dust coming from WTC 1. Also, look at the images of WTC 7 from the south side. Amazing fumes.

Umm there's something I need to tell you before you "go off the deep end", I research history & it's my favorite subject of all time.

You have no idea how much I can research & know alot about history, I can probably find something which you wouldn't debate about.

Do you have any proof there there was no debris found on the south face of WTC 2? That it wasnt seen on videos doesnt mean there was none IMHO.
Do you have any proof that debris should have bounced off? A mathematical proof would probably be the best start.

Momentum is conserved in a collision, which means that every impact includes evidence of deceleration.

A soft, lead bullet might show this deceleration by becoming somewhat squashed. An airplane would show this deceleration by destroying itself at the moment of impact (at the south face of WTC 2) and not any time after the impact.

Any part of an airplane that hit a steel beam would get smashed to bits. You can't just say the exterior of the WTC was made out of "mostly glass" and slide away from it. YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE STEEL, FOLKS!!

STEEEEL!! STEEEEEL!! Don't forget that the exterior of WTC 2 was made from aluminum-covered steel and glass.

I am not a historian. I'm a research scientist. Why don't you tell me what you think I need to know? I can't guess very well on subjects I'm not an expert in.

Well you need to know that DEW's don't exist, that a non-existant laser from space can't turn 2 inch steel into "dust". That what you're claiming is pure speckulation & hearsay, considering you've done your research based on Dr. Judy Woods accounts. Which of course Dr. Wood has no evidence to prove it!

Are you just doing this because you want & crave attention for your seminar on Dec. 1st?

What garbage. Most of the building was steel, and you can't turn steel into dust, not with any amount of explosives. It's physically impossible.

How can you call yourself a scientist? You say the dust "exploded"? How about proving it. Calculate the speed of the dust. That should give us all a chuckle. Because it's been done, and again there's irrefutable proof the dust was moving well below the speed of sound.

This is a joke, this notion that the building was turned to dust, ffs you may as well claim it was turned into wine and fishes to feed the hungry masses.

I'm sorry if you feel you're being picked on, but quite frankly you are. You're being held to a higher standard than the usual conspiracy nut because they usually lack any formal education. You don't and there really is no excuse for someone like yourself to be making claims such as this. You should have experience writing scientific reports, using scientific principles and scientific language. As of yet there is absolutely nothing forthcoming from you on that front. Shame on you, you've managed to diminish your otherwise distinguished achievements with this nonsense.
