I think it's up to SK to decide if they want to take military action. It's not up to us to storm in and say "Hey we'll help you invade! You know you want to!"

Also, a war is the last thing NK wants. They have 1 country left that might back them: China. Logic points toward that China not officially involving itself. Without China, there is no possible way for NK to win the war, nukes or not. In fact, nuking SK won't serve NK at all, nuclear aggression by the north will ensure that they get wiped off the map completely. I don't see anyone in the international community who would oppose it in that situation. KJI may be bonkers, but the people actually in control aren't that stupid.

i dont agree, sure abuse is abuse, but still i think the North Koreans are getting more severly abused than the taliban did and do with Afghani people.

Have you got any idea how many will die in thew first 24 hours of an all out war? Estimates are at least half the population of Seoul. And that is without the North using their nuclear weapons, which I find unlikely.

Truth is, there is more than likely a logical, tactical reason those artillery were fired. But NK has a "no comment" policy on just about everything, so we will never really know why, although the west, along with its SK ally will quickly come up with some silly story to continue the KJI is crazy routine.

No, I am assuming that fewer people in SK will die of the fallout than would die in a conventional war. Fewer in the North too, as you would strike at the ability to make war, not at populations.

Well, if you two cannot see, with these constant incidents, leftovers from a massive, destabilizing, bloody and devastating war that happened only 40 years before they got the nuke, why NK would want a nuke, you are crazy.

How close one side brings the other to annihilation. How far each side wants to take the destruction. Hard to tell where a fire will burn once it is lit.
