WTC dust

And you think the trusses resisted those horizontal forces and not the perimeter skin, diaphragm and perimeter moment frames?

He doesn't think there were trusses, she thinks the floors were held up by beams....

No, seriously, she does.

Stop laughing! Seriously!!

If the steel was turned into dust, why is there a section of one of the columns in a truck stop in Nebraska?

It's not a lie, dear Thunder. It's the truth, which exposes the lie you've believed for all these years.

Interesting to me that you say it's the biggest lie, which means it's actually the biggest truth you've come across since 2006. And I agree. It's a really big, obvious, world-history changing truth.

The WTC became almost entirely dust.

Care to explain all this steel??

Yeah, how about all the steel that Phillips & Jordan's accounted for?

I say that the fumes were very fine dust that came from the buildings.

If you think an airplane crash can do this, then it's really up to you to show how this could happen.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, about an airplane crash is sufficient to turn the WTC into dust. Even the resulting fires that would have happened are not capable of doing this.

Wow, two strawman inone paragraph! Cool!

Do you know what that means?

What caused all that dust, if it wasn't the WTC?

Drywall for one.

If we do a little math, we can estimate how much drywall was in the WTC towers.

The towers were 208'X208'X12'. Agreed? Good.

Now, a commercial drywall piece is 4'X12'.

So, using those dimensions, we can find out aproximately how much drywall was JUST on the outer perimeter walls.

So, each perimeter wall contained 52 pieces. 4/208=52.

Now, 4 walls, that is 208 pieces PER floor. Multiply that by 110 floors, and we get 22,880 pieces JUST in the outer walls. Now, this doesn't account for the returns in the windows, but it also doesn't account for the window gaps themselves, so we will call it even.

So, 22,880 PER tower, just for the perimeter walls. Now, two towers, and we have 45,760 pieces for both towers.

Now, crush those with hundreds of tons of weight, and what do you think it is going to do?

Create a ****LOAD of DUST.

Just a question... what building collapse is not going to create a dust cloud?

I think all the steel turned into cotton candy. Just look at the pictures of the collapse! One second they are there, then they disappear into a gigantic ball of cotton candy!

I don't know how they made that much cotton candy that fast, but I've seen the pictures:

1. Towers standing
2. Cotton Candy

I came here to see you guys debunk my idea, so get cracking!

As long as you agree that there was "poofing" involved, I'm with you.

:D

I don't have a theory on this "poofing" you mention, but it's good to see you're not one of those people who think they can debunk my cotton candy observation.

Wow...here it is again!!

The biggest lie I have ever read at JREF. Four years here, and this lie just takes the cake.

People. Until we agree the WTC became almost entirely dust, we are not going to be privy to the technology that can actually do that.

We might as well acquiesce now people; the jig is up.

I willing to acquiesce to anything if it means some evidence will be forthcoming from jammonious lite WTC Dust.

ETA: But I still think my Cotton Candy (CC) observation needs debunking.

If a pseudonymous research scientist says it's so on some Internet forum, then who are we to argue?
I've worked with hundreds of research scientists and they are absolutely all scatterbrains who couldn't debunk my Cotton Candy observation if they tried!

How was steel turned into dust? If it was a Directed Energy Weapon, adding energy would heat the steel up and it would melt, turning to liquid, not to dust.

What was the mechanism for turning the steel into dust?

Excellent question.

How about it, Mr. Research Scientist? What does your research say about the mechanism for dustification?

...hello...?

Just a question... what building collapse is not going to create a dust cloud?

I have a simple experiment WTC Dust can perform at his leisure that will surely clear up much of the mystery in his mind:

1. Go to the hardware store and buy a bag of portland cement.
2. Dump the bag out onto the ground.
3. Observe.

Now, look up the ingredients for construction concrete. Ask yourself, "what would happen if the concrete were to be crushed in some manner, and its component ingredients liberated?"

Why on earth would you come to JREF for a debunking?

You guys (mostly) are supposed to be pro-debunkers.

Since my theory is standing strong, why not subject it to
the best? This is actually why rhetorical tactics like
clairvoyance and name calling are insufficient. I actually
want a debunking of my theory.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about, yet?
Enough to debunk it?
