It has been a slice...but

Guys,

I am taking this opportunity to say farewell...sort of. I didn't want to annoy Red or others with a seperate thread, so I am putting it in here...the only thread it fits in.

After 4+ years, 20,000 posts (most here), I am giving up posting IN THIS SUBFORUM.

I might (MIGHT but doubtful) come back here and read for a few laughs, but I am done here in 9/11 CT.

It has gotten to the point where the only thing this forum, IMO, is doing, is arguing for the sake of arguing with superfreaky paranoid people who are doing nothing more then trolling for argument so they can claim victory amongst their insane group of like minded friends. I will no longer be a part of it. the final straw, as it were, is when I found myself busting a cap on a fellow debunker, thinking his post was from a truther, because I was so annoyed I didn't take the time to see who the post was from (they both had green in their avatars).

I have come to know, or at least know some part of, a lot of good people here. I have come to know some who are/were misguided but with their hearts in the right place, and I have come to know some real "out theres". It has been interesting and for the first few years, educational and worthwhile.

I will still hang out in the medicine and science section (yes Little Grey Rabbit, I do post there when things I am interested in show up), as well as the American Politics (why as a Canadian you ask....long story), so I will still be around, just not in here.

Disclaimer: If something REALLY new or interesting comes up in this forum, and I am notified or taking a peak and see it, I may make a post or two...but I may not either.

I look forward to discussing other topics with you guys in the other forums.

PS: Please let cmatrix, ergo, and MM know that they really had nothing to do with it individually, but if they wanna go over to one of their forums and do some high fives...so be it.

I leave the forum in very capable hands...

Why would a separate thread annoy me? I don't let anything written on an anonymous internet forum annoy me, ever.

You are one of the more civil and friendly posters, so it will be a shame if you don't participate. However, like Gravy and others before you who have given touching farewell addresses, you'll be back.

As long as it doesn't address your thinly veiled anti-semitism and your disgraceful accusations that the firefighters of the FDNY were involved in the conspiracy.

I can understand your decision. There is not much for me to post about in this forum, lest it would be to mock the truthers, which I don't want to do anymore.

Why don't you explore some more of this forum, such as "Forum Community" or "Movies, TV, Music, Computer Gaming, and other Entertainment"

After the Towers Fell - WTC7

Yesterday I caught some scenes from the documentary "After the Towers Fell" on Discovery. It had some footage of the burning WTC7, taken from roughly West Street and from the WTC7 collapsing filmed from inside a builsing (you could see the inside of the windows). I'm not sure if this footage has been shown before (but probably it has).

Someday, sooner than we think (it always comes sooner than we think) history is going to pop up and kidney punch us in our complacency they way it did on 9/11. Then, I suspect we will all be back here struggling to explain things to bigoted idiots again.

Until then, TAM, you may stand at ease, soldier. Job well done.

Now you can be obsessed with TAM and Gravy. They have graduated and left you in remedial 911 truth purgatory, filled with bill smith and other fringe 911 truth followers with idiotic claims and lies. This is one case where leaving is not losing, it is graduating with highest honors, something truthers can't do, you can't do. When you leave it means you flunked out, due to over 9 years of failure.

I certainly understand your position, and wish you well.

My God, but that post is frightening and obsessive. And I recently read that MM was a real grown up and not a teenager. Yikes. Blissfully, I was not mentioned.
