Picking and choosing again I see! Explain the lack of identification papers please!!

Looks like you're pickin' and choosin' actually ("knives, catapults, gas masks and cargo", "fiercely Islamist, unacceptably close to Hamas itself")!

What do you think happened to their ID papers? The sea is a big place and paper is inflammable!

What about the gas masks, catapults and other cargo, how did all that get past the Turkish authorities? Something stinks in Denmark, and I think it's rotten cheese.

as for papers, so-called refugees found floating off our shores in leaking boats, also never seem to have papers. It makes identifying them that much harder.

I reported the article as it appeared in " The Times " I do not pick and choose, the apologist who seem to be expert at it do that.

The slingshots should never have made their way on board, sure, although something like that would not be hard to smuggle past authorities so it is churlish to blame Turkey for that. But gas masks? What's wrong with having gas masks? They aren't offensive, they are defensive, and if you are going into a situation where there is going to be confrontation, and a likelihood that gas would be deployed, then a gas mask would be a very prudent thing to carry with you, don't you think?

I meant you were pickin' and choosin' the papers rather then the items I highlighted.

What's stinky about "other cargo"?

So you've no idea where the papers went and yet you claim their alleged absence makes Turkey smell bad...

I smell a cheesy conspiracy theory!

ETA: The Times forgot to mention the diving gear and fishing harpoons, which are evidence that the Mavi Marmara terrorists were prepared, in advance, to fight off an underwater attack from Israeli submarines.

Aha! So it was intended to be confrontational, not a peaceful protest as claimed. It was a stunt intended to get exactly the response it got.. Most unbiased people realise that.

By "unbiased people", I assume you mean people who aren't biased in the direction of your own bias.

What makes you think peaceful protest isn't confrontational? The Flotilla was challenging the morality and legality of the collective punishment of the people of Gaza. Protest confronts power and power often responds with violence.

"I have been repeating over and over again that he who cannot protect himself or his nearest and dearest or their honour by non-violently facing death may and ought to do so by violently dealing with the oppressor.

He who can do neither of the two is a burden. He has no business to be the head of a family. He must either hide himself, or must rest content to live for ever in helplessness and be prepared to crawl like a worm at the bidding of a bully.

The IHH is just like Gandhi!

Your previous post, in which you act as if your inventions are empirical reality, reminds me why I have you on ignore.
I completely forgot we had a parallel thread on this very same matter of which you still managed to comment on, nothing of which is any different than you've posted here.

Comment there if you wish: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6368187&postcount=50

Ties in with this thread as well though since the same contradictory eye-witness testimony is accepted as 'evidence' in this laughable report.

Why is Egypt never mentioned in all this? They also have a blockade of Gaza in place.

o.O what the heck are you talking about? that keeps geting pointed out over and over again, one of Thunder's favorite points.

Is it ?

I've been AFK for 4 months, and if it is, good on him for maintaining it. IIRC there was a "big protest" in Egypt this summer, a bunch of activists flew over there to tell the Egyptian government they were being bad.

Comparing Gandhi to the IHH is like comparing the writings of Hubbard to the writings of Richard Dawkins. Hitler with Mandela.

Or amb with JihadJane. :p

I wasn't comparing Gandhi with IHH. I was attempting to introduce some subtlety into the discussion.

and what is wrong with that protest?

What, you mean other than a bunch of white leftist activists who usually spend their time calling other people racists jumping on a plane, flying over to the brown peoples land ( Egypt ) and telling them that they're doing it wrong ? Or that those same activist types are always shrieking about climate change and our dependence on fossil fuels think nothing of hopping on a jet and flying across the ocean, like they did to protest at Copenhagen ?

Then blogging about it like it was some sort of adventure holiday

Other than those, nothing really.

why on earth would you call Egypt "brown peoples land"?
with such nonsense it is no wonder people call you a racist.

Probably best to stick to the "nothing really".
