What's so great about a man who discloses top secret information? What's so great about a bunch of Nazi cowards? What's so great about a bunch of terrorists kidnapping a plane with innocent civilians?
You accused people of being Mossad apologists, which implies you disagree with the assassination of the terrorist.
I do disagree with with extrajudicial killings, especially when carried out by foreign powers within the borders of a sovereign state and using forged documents that compromise the sovereignty and security of MY state, and I make no qualms about it. Please point out where I've said any different? You should probably go back over that exchange and read it sloooowly this time, because what you've said here has sweet f.a to do with what I was saying to Virus.
So I think your statement needs a correction; You disagree when Israel conducts extrajudicial killings.
It's war.
That's like expecting the CIA to break into Osama bin Laden's hideout in order to write "penis" on his forehead in marker, then leave.

Why would they have to do that?oh, so when will Israel be affording its many Hamas and Fatah prisoners, POW status?
To be entitled to prisoner-of-war status, captured service members must be lawful combatants entitled to combatant's privilege—which gives them immunity from punishment for crimes constituting lawful acts of war, e.g., killing enemy troops. To qualify under the Third Geneva Convention, a combatant must have conducted military operations according to the laws and customs of war, be part of a chain of command, wear a "fixed distinctive marking, visible from a distance" and bear arms openly. Thus, uniforms and/or badges are important in determining prisoner-of-war status; and francs-tireurs, terrorists, saboteurs, mercenaries and spies do not qualify. In practice, these criteria are rarely interpreted strictly. Guerrillas, for example, usually do not wear a uniform or carry arms openly, yet captured guerrillas are often granted POW status.
The criteria are applied primarily to international armed conflicts; in civil wars, insurgents are often treated as traitors or criminals by government forces, and are sometimes executed. However, in the American Civil War, both sides treated captured troops as POWs, presumably out of reciprocity, although the Union regarded Confederate personnel as separatist rebels. However, guerrillas and other irregular combatants generally cannot expect to simultaneously receive benefits from both civilian and military status.
In summary, they don't get POW status because they aren't entitled to it.
And no, not peddling CT. Its from a Palestinian news agency and was published a week before his assassination (Published Wednesday 20/01/2010 (updated) 31/01/2010 15:35)Gaza – Ma'an – Hamas' armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced the death of its co-founder in exile Mahmoud Al-Mabhuh, who died of terminal cancer in a hospital in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
The Al-Qassam leader, a refugee who lived the Jabaliya Refugee Camp until he left Gaza for Dubai, was behind a mission that successfully captured two Israeli soldiers, a statement from the brigades said.

what evidence do you have that every single Palestinian prisoner is not entitled to POW status?

Israel seems to have the track record of an Arab state, when it comes to detainees.
Which one do you think does?what evidence do you have that every single Palestinian prisoner is not entitled to POW status?
Why would I anticipate the need to get evidence for goalpost-moving, imaginary claims?
Read what I posted. I even bolded it for you.
What part of "terrorists do not qualify" is difficult to understand?
Are Hamas and Fatah terrorists members of a state military that fights according to the rules of war? Crap no. So they don't get POW status. If you want to claim there are exceptions then do your own damn homework.
