Merged President Ahmadinejad trips the light fantastic

The funny thing is many of the ideologue/truthers on this forum would indeed firmly believe that it is only the west, and specifically the US, that uses propaganda, fear mongering, and mindless political rhetoric to further an agenda.

Ahmadinejad is just misunderstood.

Mostly the US definitely by a long way.

We already know this, but from a NY Times blog:

9/11 Conspiracy Theory Not as Popular as Ahmadinejad Says

Quoted from the blog:

But people familiar with the Web as a business know that only a vanishingly small percentage of the people who read articles and blog posts also submit comments. So, if Mr. Ahmadinejad has been spending time reading the comments beneath in blog posts, and takes them as an accurate reflection of global opinion, his statement today at the U.N. might make perfect sense, even while being almost certainly wrong.

This is an accurate description of today's reality.

What's left of the "truth movement" only exists online. In fact it's the only realm they've ever had.

If they dared enter courtrooms, engineering journals or the scientific community the resounding laugh would be heard all the world over.

Did the NYT mention the polls that say 100 million Americans believe that their government was lying about 9/11 ?

Not on something as clear and obvious as that Twinstead.

The clearness and obviousness of it is simply your opinion, and obviously an integral part of your world view. Intelligent and world-aware people can, and do, form different opinions.

this part of the post you responded to:

is critical. If 100 million Americans believe their government was lying about 9/11--hell about ANYTHING this criminal--the courtrooms, respected journals, and the halls of academia would be BUZZING with activity.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: until this debate leaves obscure internet forums and websites and enters the courtrooms, real engineering journals, and real academia you're just another little cult.

the 3rd Ahmadinejad theory (terrorist did it, but the gov. took advantage of the situation... is a very rational and realistic opinion).

the only conspiracy is whether they "took advantage" before or after the fact.. because clearly... they DID take advantage of the situation.

They indeed took advantage of it. In fact, that was one of the major goals of Al Q when this was planned. They wanted the US to lash out. In fact, concerning Ahmadinejad I would not be surprised if in many ways he wishes the US or Israel would attack Iran.

It seems that good old Ahmadinejad has overstepped the mark again. Why does he keep doing this?, is it just demagoguery or something truly stupid?.

Is the president of Iran really a twoofer or is he playing games with the western media and its propensity for hysterics?. Methinks this is a dangerous game for him to play - but aren't all high stakes games dangerous - what can he gain from this?.:covereyes

Dear Reverend,

Your post is blatantly presumptuous. What on earth are you even talking about, as you do not say? Rather, you appear to want us to assume something about President Ahmadinejad that doesn't even require mentioning.

Here is what I can add, having been in NYC on 9/23/10:

It might come as a surprise to you based on what you may have seen written in US mainstream media, but, for those who were in NYC on 9/23/10 to hear both President Obama and President Ahmadinejad, I have news for you:

1--President Obama was greeted with tepid applause and with a palpable sense of disgust by many who were present.

2--President Ahmadinejad was greeted with an air of anticipation, respect, again by many who were present, and was warmly applauded despite the pompous, predictable and stupid walk-out drama staged by the US.

Facts Matter: What happened on 9/11/01 has not ever been properly determined and President Ahmadinejad is quite correct in calling worldwide attention to that fact; and, worldwide attention is focusing on the incongruites and absurd claims mandated by the common storyline of 9/11 that are blatantly false, on their face.

President Ahmadinejad is, therefore, quite correct in questioning the common storyline of the events of 9/11/01.

Let's look at this from an international perspective. It is to be recalled that right after 9/11, Osama binLaden issued a statement specifically denying involvment in 9/11.

Here is what Osama binLaden actually said. Note, in quoting binLaden, I am not endorsing what he said, merely accurately stating what he said, and not relying on doctored, phony video claims about what he said:

“I was not involved in the September 11 attacks in the United States nor did I have knowledge of the attacks. There exists a government within a government within the United States. The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself, to the people who want to make the present century a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity. That secret government must be asked as to who carried out the attacks… The American system is totally in control of the Jews, whose first priority is Israel, not the United States.”

While it is true that a simple denial by Osama binLaden is insufficient, standing alone, to prove he had nothing to do with 9/11, there was, nonetheless, an obligation of the US to prove what happened.

Again, let's look at this from an international perspective.

Right after 9/11, then Secretary of State, Colin Powell, said that a "White Paper" would be prepared within a month or so in order to prove what happened on 9/11. The term "white paper" is a common expression used in diplomatic circles to stand for an official governmental response that is supposed to be true and accurate.

But, guess what, no such "White Paper" that was to have shown the proof of what happened on 9/11, as promised by then US Secretary of State Colin Powell, was ever prepared, let alone delivered, let alone relied on, from that time to and including the present.

In fact, there simply does not exist any definitive determination of what happened on 9/11 that is true, reliable or properly prepared.

All who are in the least bit reasonable will readily acknowledge that what happened on 9/11 has not ever been reliably proven. Many people, of course, simply do not require proof of what happened on 9/11. I am not addressing the issue of what people believe. This post is limited to a declaration that is true and based on the factual record, not on the emotional level of what people believe.

The fact is, there has not ever been a reliable determination of what happened on 9/11, starting, perhaps, with the failure of the US government to deliver a promised "White Paper."

A partial listing of the inconclusive determinations of what happened on 9/11 includes, but is not limited to the following:

1--The rigged Congressional inquiry in 2002-3;
2--The incompetent, incongruent and incomplete so-called 9/11 Commission Report;
3--The National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) report prepared in 2005 (NCSTAR 1), that failed to establish what destroyed the World Trade Center;
4--The so-called "evidence" compiled for the "trial" of Zacharias Moussaoui which "evidence" was deemed to be acceptable solely because Zacharias Moussaoui agreed with it by signing his name to a "stipulation" thus making Zacharias Moussaoui the source for the claim of validation of evidence! That so-called "evidence" does not prove what happened and is merely a hodge-podge, grab bag of innuendo and phony items.

In short, those who seek to label President Ahmadinejad for calling attention to the truth that there has not ever been a proper determination of what happened on 9/11 and that, therefore, there are those who contend it was orchestrated by elements within the US government, is a completely valid assertion, easily satisfied by a review of the publicly available information on the subject.

Any attempt to label Iran's president is, therefore, an exercise in blatant propaganda, consistent with a desire to cover-up the facts as they are.

The presidential motorcade caused some delay in getting to the UN yesterday, according to sources...:D

Blah, blah, blah, blah, STFU!

And after 9 yrs of failure, you seem to lack 1 key factor: Evidence! Where oh where is the evidence that the Offical Story is "false". Why must stupidity dominate the most gullible minds of Truthers?

Blah, blah, blah, blah, STFU!

^^ beachnut..

gullible people stay poor, you will never be rich

You are rich, you and j-man can sell his Plymouth wheel-covers delusion. There is a market for false ideas on 911, and you are rich with them.

I was going to say I was rich, I have...
lol, poor, I have four daughters, 5 grandsons, 11 computers (oops, found 5 more), 7 laser printers, my own beach, my own pond, apple trees, peach trees, walnut trees, almond trees, a lawn to mow, and as much beer as I want.

Reminds me, I want to build a few more computers, so I could scrap 4 computers, or 5 today. Dump run!

I am rich in storage to save your precious delusions. 5.2 Tb right here in my custom silent computer. Down stairs, 8.2 Tb, another silent computers, In the front room 4.1 Tb, and another silent computer. But best of all, I will run with my grandsons at the park this afternoon, and teach them how to be individuals who don't follow liars like you do. Rich? Gullible? lol, you are the one spewing nonsense and following 911 truth into the pit of ignorance and lies.

I am poor, my 4 daughters all made more money than I in their first jobs, and all my daughters know your failed ideas on 911 are nonsense. Rich!

Gullible, is the president of Iran your expert? lol, that is rich.
Got evidence? When are you and j-man selling those Plymouth wheel-covers? Good luck rich man.

I'm surprised Prez Ahmadinejad isn't more sympathetic to Obama, who is, according to Rush Limbaugh etc...a fellow Muslim.

hehe
I guess the "evidence" that Iran is developing a nuclear weapons as opposed to its open peaceful civilian program is going to start piling up.

As will the calls for an invasion. As will bogus claims that because a majority of Teheranis voted against Ahmadinejad that means a majority of the country did.

The more I see Ahmadinejad, the more I like, although it is difficult to see how speaking the truth to power is in the interests of the Iranian on the street.

yes, and I guess when Ahmidina-jihad trots out a nuke on the streets of Tehran, you will still call it a "Peaceful" nuclear program.

They can do no wrong...only the USG can do wrong.

I'm not a Truther, but the US delegations reaction was childishly pathetic at least.

Is there a full transcript of Ahmadinejad's speech?

are you serious? He basically accused their bosses of the mass murder of 3000 innocent civilians, and a walk out protest is "childish".

Sorry Oliver, but IMO, you are wrong on this one.

TAM:)

That's everywhere the same in the West... the establishment all on the side of the NWO (meaning ever larger political units leading to world government) and the population who don't like these policies, like the Tea Party in the US.

The establishment is on the left, grass roots on the right.

9/11 was engineered to bring the NWO closer, to give the US a pretext to invade Iraq and capture the oil resources and to eliminate one of Israels worst enemies, Saddam.

I think 85% is too much, most polls indicate that 30-40% of the population at least does not buy the gov's story.

Well, then the truth movement is the worst protest group in the history of man kind....30-40% of the US population is about 100-150Million people, yet they can only get 1000 people to show up at GZ in protest for the 5th ani of 9/11.

Do you have any idea what the consequences would be for all these dignitaries to support Ahmadinejad?

Don't rock the boat and damage your career, that's what they all think.

If the truth comes out, 'ZOG-USA' would be finished.

It will come out anyway.

P.S. this is what happens to establishment types if they have revisionist views on 911: you are sacked:

There also was this Canadian female politician who was fired, I forgot her name.

lol..consequences? like what, the USA label the UN a useless body and do things their own way???

Oh wait, that already happened with Iraq.

paper tiger argument
