Coast to Coast AM Debate, August 21 2010

Is there a quick link to the audio of the debate?

(Before I plunge through 15 pages to see if there is a link)

Please read this before making such bad jokes...

ronmossad.blogspot.com/2009/04/final-word-on-niels-harrit-nanothermite.html?showComment

Relevant excerpt:

Our main function was US&R, live person, (not cadaver search) but all of our dogs are cross trained in several disciplines, including EDD [Explosive detection] and Incendiary detection.

ok so they specifically trained to detect nanothermite?

if u guys want to ask Richard Gage any questions, he will be in our room for a CIVIL q+a session for 2 hours this friday night. link at the ae911 website, paltalk, truth movement chatroom. see ya there eh !
What do you debate a fraud with? Gage has no evidence, he only repeats lies, hearsay, and fantasy. How do you debate a fraud, or worse and insane person. You have to be insane or a fraud to present the lies and idiotic delusions Gage has to offer.

The only reason 60 Minutes or 20/20 does not expose Gage as a liar! He only rips of idiots (idiots as far as understanding 911 goes). He is a fraud, and if he was a bigger threat than bilking money from the gullible he would be in jail or exposed lie Jim Jones or other morons who are frauds.

good article, thanks

911 truth, the top idiots in the world who can make up super-nano-thermite, that leaves no iron fused to WTC steel, no burnt products. Zero products of the delusional theory, no super-nano-thermite, found in the WTC, not an ounce.

What happens when the 911 truth crackpots discover the silent "explosive", crackamite! The next smoking gun for idiots who spew delusions and produce epic failure and super-piles-massive-macro-stupid-delusions.

I don't buy your attempt to weasel up an explanation for 2/3 g based on "remaining static loads." The simplest explanation is the best one - the collisions cause the average acceleration to be reduced, and that reduction has indeed been measured.

Well restated...

There are two kinds of people in this debate. Those who understand vector addition, and Tony Szamboti. :p

*Sigh*... New round of socks.

No joke. Now we know where the dryer sends them all.

Thermite is an accelerant. Yes, the dogs also detect thermite, and all of it's flavors.
An anonymous poster named wardogs says he was there with dogs that would have notified him if they dected any kind of explosives or thermite and Dave states it as a fact on national radio. You have lowered the bar a bit here. Mr. Gage would be viciously attacked for presenting such unconfirmed information. This is hypocrisy with chutzpah.

Wardogs is not quite anonumous. His name is Capt. Jim McGee of Haiku Kennels, of Ormand Beach, Florida.

Here is some info on Haiku Kennels.

Yeah, what were you saying? Thought so....

Dropbox is free, and I've put the big single file in my Dropbox public folder, available for download here:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4115570/C2C.911.08-21-10.all.mp3

It's a 42 MB MP3 file, just a little shy of three hours long.

Hey Dave, I'm the guy who commented on your posting at the Panda's Thumb - I was in the Bighorn Nat'l Forest in Wyoming just two weeks ago and was also impressed with the road signs pointing out the rock layers and their ages. And I was also a long time Science Watch listener. Thanks for your efforts!

This mp3ment was awesome! Now I can listen to the file whilst I carpool to work (a couple hours each day, 'cept Tuesdays 'n' Wednesdays, as I've a new class I'm teaching for the NMT psych department on science and pseudoscience, and stay in Socorro those days. BTW, 9/11 is the topic of lecture 10.)

Yeah, those Bighorns were awesome! A lot of fish there, including browns, rainbows, and Jurassic shelled squids 'n' oysters (the latter of the Sundance Fm.). If you should go through Shell, Wy., get a burger 'n' beer at the Antler Inn, and tell Big Al howdy for me.

Cheers, Dave

I re-read his article and his dogs are trained to detect military type thermate with barium. The nano-thermite that Harrit and Jones found in the dust did not contain barium so Jim's dogs would not detect it.
Like Dave, Jim does not understand the difference between thermite and nano-thermite.

Now wait just a minute... I thought that the truthers said that the Thermite was "Military grade" and that was hwhy it worked so well and had top secret uber magical properties. Now it's not "Military grade" because the dogs didn't find it? So I guess that means that it has lost all of its magical "Military grade" bona fides as well, right?

Right? I mean it's getting kinda hard to keep track of what the current truther theories are because they change so often that it's like trying to keep track of a 6 year old hopping on and off different horses on the carousel trying to pick just the right one before the ride starts. I know from personal experience how that one turns out... It's always the wrong one so they want to get on another.

Your first mistake is assuming all truthers think the same like you guys. When people think for themselves you get a lot of disagreement. Theories change as new information becomes available and the thermite paper opened new possibilities. You reject it of course because y'all just hand wave anything that pokes holes in your Conspiracy Theory about 19 nut-jobs getting by our military.

No, they found nano-thermite that does not contain barium.

Ryan, it isn't surprising that you don't support your statement here, as you won't admit to the glaring errors you made in our debate.

Remember your insistence that the factor of safety of the central core columns wasn't 3.00 to 1, when in fact it was that high with the actual in service loads it carried, and your portrayal of the tilt of the upper section of WTC 1 being the NIST assertion of 8 degrees before it started to descend, which has now been proven to be in error as in reality it started to descend and tilt immediately.

Your behavior here smacks of bias and is not becoming of a professional.

Like you Dave Thomas' analysis is in error also. His theorized impulses and velocity drops do not provide the energy necessary to deform and buckle the columns and continue the collapse. His claim that the velocity drop during the first collision is from 19 to 18 mph is farcical as it doesn't even provide 10% of the energy required. He won't even attempt to try and explain the contradiction the Verinage demolitions cause his theory.
