Huntster?! That's pretty funny. He's probably "disgusted" with the lack of money the Feds have allocated to conduct bigfoot expeditions (whatever those are). Of course, I don't think he ever took my suggestion to contact Ted Stevens to demand this . . .

As for the evidence for the wolverines in California, who doesn't wish we could get at least one bigfoot photo like these? http://www.dfg.ca.gov/news/issues/wolverine/

I hope Huntster enjoyed this...

You need to meet Huntster. That grumpy old fart would out-grump you upside down and inside out. His grump would take you down to Chinatown - express. His grump is so rough, he could make a Happy Meal sad. Huntster is so grouchy, he slaps the doorknob before he turns it. The old fart is so mean, planes, trains, and automobiles: All these things I had to take just to find his good side. I don't even remember where it is now. Huntster is so nasty, the bears shoot at him.

I got more...

The wolverine thing has been covered so many times and in so much depth, it's ridiculous that anyone might think there are Bigfoots escaping detection from the array that caught the single wolverine in the wild of NorCal. Big weasel - check. Bigfoot - :nope:

Hey, wouldn't it be great if even in one place in North America we could get unambiguous video clear as day, scat, hair, and DNA telling us just where it came from as we did for that wolverine in Cali that came all the way from the Rockies?

More details here...

I'm a skeptic. A game cam photo is not compelling evidence.

The BFF thread to which Disgusted/Huntster contributed (linked above by KKZ), provides a link to the video from which the "not compelling game cam photo" was taken. In the video, what is clearly and unequivocally a wolverine moves about the base of a tree.

We see the animal fully and completely from almost every angle of view and in numerous different positions. We see it locomote quadrupedally with its front paws turned inward, exactly as we know and have filmed and documented wolverines to do. It is physiologically impossible that the animal depicted could be a "cat in a wolverine suit", as Disgusted/Huntster was stupid enough to postulate.

In the same BFF thread it is also made clear that DNA, hair and scat samples have been taken from the wolverine, which is now known to be a male from Idaho. There is clear and unequivocal evidence of the animal's existence, sex and origins.

If Disgusted/Huntster were to apply the same degree of skepticism, which he pretends to apply to the California wolverine, to any and all reports, videos and pictures of bigfoot, then he would no longer accept bigfoot as a realistic or rational postulate.

Instead, judging from his total neglect of the points raised here -- and taken from a thread to which he himself contributed after the links were provided -- Disgusted/Huntster opts to remain in ignorance of the very subject he purports to study.

But then... isn't this what sockpuppets are for, after all? :p

Thank you for answering my questions, they were just thoughts i had about a possible reason for you sleep problems.
I am glad that you have considered them and dismissed them as possible as i would hate to think of someone else having the problems i have had. I am now having treatment and i'm 'just like any other normal person' as they say lol. Thank you for your concern.

I read your report on the BFF and i found it very interesting. I am still undecided on whether i believe Bigfoot exists or not, that is not to say i don't believe what you reported. I believe you believe you saw a Bigfoot but as i was not there i can not say if it was real or not.

Earlier in this thread you said on a scale of 1 to 10 you were at 9 with your belief it was a real Bigfoot, has that changed at all?

Please feel free to not answer any questions, i have read other comments on this thread that were not nice and do not wish to bring that attention to you again.

thanks again

No, I am still at a 9. It would be a 10, but that may seem arrogant because nothing or no one is perfect. There is always the possibility or error. I don't worry about the snide comments, I can ignore them.

WGBH, in the process of ignoring "snide comments", you've also ignored, or neglected to consider, the landslide of rational arguments against bigfoot's existence -- namely lack of ecological impact or type specimen. You've also failed to acknowledge the extraordinary similarities between your own sighting and the phenomenon of hypnagogic hallucination.

Yes I have.

Ignoring the soockpuppet, isn't it exciting that a wolveringe has been spotted in a range from which it was thought to have been extirpated? Makes me hope for a grizzly dwelling somewhere along the John Muir trail in CA.

It's really quite something to see Huntster's reaction to the lone NorCal migrant wolverine. It messes him all up. You can almost hear gears grind and smell the smoke wafting from his head from the way it discombobulates him. That is some pretty stunning denial he went into. Seriously, he was saying the images of the wolverine were not good. Like, you couldn't tell it was a wolverine. Like, hmmm, what's this?...

Poor grumpy old fart. The reason why it gets him so bent out of shape that we have DNA and clear video for the one wolverine in the wild in NorCal that came from a large mammal detection array is because that is where his Bigfoot belief has its special place. The PGF he believes is real and it was while hiking in NorCal that Huntster found a track off of a trail that he was convinced was Bigfoot. I think the track was either from a bear or a person and Huntster convinced himself it was a Bigfoot. Saying that would probably make Huntster go and and shoot a few bears, but, really, if Bigfoot belief can knacker his head so much with undeniably obvious wolverine video, why can not the desire to believe in Bigfoot not make him see Bigfoot in a bear track?

We now have grizzly bears on the north end of Vancouver Island...

Along with great white sharks, the list of things that can eat you here seems to be growing. :boxedin:

I see two every morning when I put on my socks.*

*This is a lengthy thread, apologies if this joke has already been made.

I'm pretty sure if we offered Bigfoot some tacos, he'd let us take pictures. Who can resist tacos? :p

We actually have it on good authority that bigfoot likes beans.

I miss Creek, maybe he'll show up at the new BFF.

Me very eclectic.

Me like beans, peanut butter, popcorn, garlic, pancakes...

Thrown pig roast...

Torn dog guts in a blanket...

Poo-covered boy...

Me really have hard time pairing wine with poo-covered boy. Me think dark red and maybe something to match nuttiness.
