you obviously did not read my posts.
i did not say i was a believer.
i said that my b-in law claims to have seen one and that i had no reason to not believe him.
perhaps you should go back and read my posts again, before you make more false claims.
Bikerdruid, welcome to the JREF. I don't think I need to tell you that arguing for Bigfoot and being a 9/11 "Truther" is a zinger combo around here. I'm not particularly interested in addressing your beliefs on either of these subjects, but I would like to ask just what it is you're talking about.
So about the 9/11 thing, are you LIHOP (let it happen on purpose) or MIHOP (made it happen on purpose)?
What does your brother-in-law claim to have seen and when and where? Also, did he report the sighting to any Bigfooter organization or any authorities?
So, as I understand it, you have no other position regarding 9/11 other than there being a coverup. The alleged Bigfoot sighting happened forty years ago and hasn't been spoken about until recently. Where was this supposed to have taken place?
Yes.
He also claimed many posters here were NSA spooks, black helicopters used EMP pulses to erase his DVDs, he was in telepathic contact with bigfeet and extradimensional little people...
Would it really be an ad hom to cal him nuts?
in the central mountain area of western alberta.
Was he more specific than that?
my b-inlaw says he saw something big, brown and fast, run across the road in front of him, in his headlghts. it ran on 2 legs, and that confused the **** out of him. he told my sister and no one else. it was forty years before he would even admit it, or talk about it. he didn't want to be thought to be 'one of them'.
i have no reason to disbelieve that he saw something weird.
Myself and a few buddies were out on a hunting trip for a few days. Just North of Hinton. On the second night of our stay I was awoke by some grunting that turned to a loud howl. Almost a scream or cry of some sort. A buddy and I went to investigate with shotgun and spotlight. Turns out it was one of out pals. He had too many beer and stumbled away from camp in the night, when the call of nature struck him. I guess my rip roaring, smokin' hot chilli was just too much, and we found him all sweaty, shaking and squating over a windfall.
first, thanks for the civil tone of your post.
as i mentioned elsewhere, civility seems a rarity here.
i do not claim to know the truth about 911. i think that anyone who does, is kidding themselves. i think that 40 years from now, it will be like the jfk assassination. no one will know what really happened, but they will know that 'the truth'..... wasn't.
I think anyone who doesn't know is way overdue for their Thorazine dose, and should buzz the med nurse as soon as possible.
You're right about one thing though....40 years from now, there will still be nutjobs running around wondering what really happened on 9/11. Not sure why, the answer is staring us right in the face.....bigfoot did it.
guys....the thread is entitled, "bigfoot- anybody seen one?"
i made the mistake of answering the question.
I see you are brand new here bikerdruid and thought I'd take a look at your posts...
You think that the US Government destroyed the World Trade Center? This would normally be off topic in a Bigfoot thread, but I think your personal credibility is on the line. Are you a weirdo who might lie about their BIL seeing a Bigfoot?
Yes.
9/11 was an inside job and Bigfoot exists = Immediate Fail on JREF.
It's not a silly question for a person who thinks the government brought down NYC skyscrapers then covered it up.
Well that part wasn't too bad. If you had stuck to bigfoot you would have probably received a warmer welcome along with the suggestions about other things your brother-in-law might really have seen. But the 9-11 truther stuff? That's like tearing into a hornets' nest with your face.
I don't want to talk about 9/11 with bikerdruid. 9/11 conspiracy discussion is mental snot to me.
