Mossad agent arrested in Hamas assassination case

Mossad should change standard operating procedure to involve just sending Predator Drones into the hotels of suspected terrorists. It wouldn't risk their own citizens/agents then, at least.

suspected terrorists? i would prefer convicted.
You're right, Israel should invade Gaza and arrest the terrorists so there can be a proper trial.

Sure a few hundred or thousands of civilians also die in the ensuing battles, but it's all legal and proper then, right?

Polish are just anti-Semitic. That's why they arrested this innocent Jewish angel. The Poles are still Nazi-lackys.

Me too actually. I'd by far prefer arrests and convictions, with assassinations and military options left to a last resort option. I'm just surprised at the level of criticism towards Israel over this, given that I'd be amazed if US and UK special forces weren't doing similar around the world. It's probably cause they got caught.

The USA and Britain do not use forged passports to do their work. They do not cary out assassinations against the will and without permission of the country where it takes place.

Maybe if Israel got permission to be operating in said country, and didn't use forged passports from friendly nations, there wouldn't be soo much criticism.

Naa.....the criticism is just because Israel is Jewish and the world hates Jews.

i think its more because of the used faked passports.
else we wouldn't hear much about it anymore.

I'd be amazed if the US or UK secret services never used forged passports. As for the second point, Thunder, the US have sent Predator Drones to Yeman to assassinate the preacher/suspected terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki, despite Yemeni objections. Source

DC: To an extent. They'd be criticised for assassinating Mahmoud al-Mabhouh if they were caught, but using fake passports led to a much greater level of criticism, especially from European countries who's citizens suddenly got caught up in it. The criticism isn't because they are Jews, Thunder, it's because no nation really wants to be seen to be supporting assassinations publicly. Even in the American example above, Obama stressed that'd he prefer to have al-Awlaki captured alive.

I know that.

You know that.

But some right-wing extremists in this forum and in this world, believe any time Israel is criticized, its cause Israel is full of Jews.

This is the ONE and ONLY reason...Israel is criticized. According to them.

I am glad the Mossad is going around whacking terrorists. Too bad they got caught.

What do you keep your hyperbole in when you are not using it? I only ask because mine is in a box and I'm not sure if there are enough air holes.

Uzzy you are of course right. Israel broke the first rule of under cover operations - the got found out. You get caught you take the flak. I'm sure the UK and the US secret service have used false passports and would no doubt step smartly away from any operative so caught to maintain a plausible denial. It isn't actually legal to go to another country and kill someone. We would not be impressed if Iranian agents came here and killed one of our people using fake passports.

Really? Are you sure? I mean, lots of people in the US seemed to get awfully upset when we did it to the IRA in our own country. Or are there, like, two different sets of rules at work?
