Merged Israel Attacks Palestinian Aid Flotilla, According To Reports

Anyone? Beuller?

You can argue that Israel didn't have to let the ship through, no problem there with me, although I disagree with the siege on humanitarian grounds personally and think that Israel would have done better to let the aid through, but that doesn't justify engaging in an act of piracy and killing ten people and wounding up to 80 then kidnapping and illegally detaining over 600 people.

Egyptians aren't Jews. Different rules apply. They can defend themselves without having the useful idiots all angry, I am afraid.

I can only speak for myself, but to me the very existence of borders is an insult to human dignity and intelligence, and borders which are actively patrolled and even blockaded are terrible, and I have nothing but contempt for them, regardless of who is doing the blockading.

The really amazing thing about this thread is the number of people who have no problems with allowing Hamas to have seaports with which to import weapons to use against Israel.

And of course, they're allowed to use those weapons against Israel and Israel is not allowd to defend herself from that. See all the hysterics over Operation Cast Lead for Exhibit A.

You will of course oblige me by pointing out those posters who have claimed here that Hamas should have "seaports with which to import weapons to use against Israel" and that they would, if that was the case, be "allowed to use those weapons against Israel and Israel is not allowed to defend herself from that". Thank you!

So you think the blockade should be lifted, allowing Iran to possibly ship in missiles? Just trying to clarify your position and where it leads.

you think its OK to ban essential goods, so mainly the innocent civilians suffer from the good bans. while sure Hamas has trouble geting their stuff to fire rockets on Israel. but the civilians pay a high prise for it, and the longer the blockade lasts the worser it will be for Israel, as this drives the people in the hands of the radicals. as they rightfully feal treated unfairly.

thats also why people refer to it as collective punishment. civilians get punished for something some radicals did.

Why weren't there any fightings in the other 5 ships? You think the IDF wanted the situation to become violent or was it the terrorists' acts on one ship that started this whole violence?

You say "that doesn't justify engaging in an act of piracy and killing ten people and wounding up to 80 then kidnapping and illegally detaining over 600 people" as if the IDF boarded the ship, started shooting blindly and took hostages. You view reality in a very distorted way.
Here, have one of these:

^^ Terrorists  And you say I view reality in a distorted way.

If Israel would just withdraw to the 1967 borders then they wouldn't have to fear Iranian missiles.

You do realise, don't you, that the whole flotilla was bringing in as much as comes in over five days by road? A pathetic stunt is all this was.

And you haven't answered my qusetion. Do you think Israel should lift the blockade at the risk of missiles getting in?

Except for the fact that they were bringing in stuff that Israel won't allow into the strip, like cement and most food-stuff.

You wouldn't want terrorists getting their hands on coriander, lord knows WHAT might happen, curries-of-mass-destruction!

yes actually i think the suffering is less, even if Hamas restarts firing rockets.
there must be other way to astop hamas. But also provocations on Israels side have to stop. like settlements etc. this way, with blockade, it will only radicalize the Palestinians, tis counter productive and a very very bad public impression Israel shows the world.

Maybe you're unaware that these civilians have elected Hamas as their leaders. You can't have your people vote for radicals as your leaders and then, when actions are taken against your people in response to terrorism by your leaders, say "they did it, punish only them"...Especially when these terrorists hide among the civilians.

Looks to me as if they boarded that ship, shot a few people, stated a riot then started the camera rolling as a couple of hapless stooges were lowered onto the boat to make out like the brave conscript child army of soldiers were attacked first.
Why don't israel just drive all the arabs out Palestine and be done with it. It seems to me to be the only solution. No arabs in Palestine, problem solved.

They shouldn't allow anyone to transport weapons into Gaza, but they should allow people to transport everything else into Gaza. One way to prevent people trying from getting weapons into Gaza would be to work for a world-wide ban on weapon manufacture. Has Israel tried that avenue? Has anyone?

That is not what I heard on the radio interviews with the first kidnapped Swedes to return this morning. According to them, the Israeli on their ship attacked the peace activists who were using non-violent methods of resistance with tazers, paintball pellets, and their hands. It just didn't erupt into large-scale murder as it did on the Mavi Marmara.

Of course. You haven't read my link from before.

revealed that the majority of those who attacked the Israeli Naval Commandos boarding the ship have direct and indirect Global Jihad ties.
...
Some among that group are believed to have ties with World Jihad groups, mainly al-Qaeda.
Yes, terrorists.

yeah and its very helpfull sofar, so many Palestinian swore off their radicalism and turned in to very moderate and lovely neighbors.

not even 50% of the 75% of those that voted did vote for Hamas.
and Hamas is one of the best social network providers in Palestina.

Going from your previous posts, I assume you are not serious with the bolded suggestion.
