is this true?
i have seen it here on all stations i watched, private and public TV
Well all I can say is that none of those videos showed up on the MSM *news* websites in their entirety or anything close to entirety. Small bits from one or the other were shown during the MSM news broadcasts but always in the following manner.
For example, here,
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37446016#37446016 , you see the leftist MSNBC *news*staff defending the palestinians who incited this, doubting the Israeli statements about what happened, and acting like they've not seen any of these videos which answered ALL the questions that they asked the Israeli guest. The MSNBC media talking head regurgitates the allegation that Israeli's opened fire on an unarmed ship even though the videos are out there showing that is not what happened at all. "Morning Joe", in the way he phrases questions, does everything he can to make the Palestinians the victims and the Israelis the bad guys. The MSM is simply disgusting in it's pro-palestinian, anti-Israeli bias.
Here,
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37446016#37446016 , you see Chris Mathews doing the same thing. Totally misrepresenting what the people on those ships were, how the Israelis responded and not showing enough of the videos to give the complete picture of what actually happened. In fact, Chris Matthews asks a Washington Post reporter what the "best description of what happened on the deck of that ship". She responds that "amazingly, Chris, even 48 hours after the whole incident we don't have a definitive picture of what happened". Sorry, but I think those videos are rather definitive. Then she goes on to describe what the "activists" claim (while displaying tiny hard to see clips from one of the Israeli videos in the backgroud). To her credit, she does mention the videos show the commandos being attacked the moment they hit the deck with "metal and wood rods" and "other kinds of weapons". But then Mathews asks if there is something "deceptive" about what is being shown in the background and then doesn't let the *reporter* respond. Instead he goes on to say "What do you think is the main
criticism of Israel in this regard, if there is such a thing as an objective observer?" (Like that was an "objective" question in the first place.) And the woman replies "Israel is obviously facing a lot of criticism for the way they carried out this operation". Really? Only from the left and terrorist supporters. And then goes on to suggest there must be a better way to maintain Israel's blockade of Gaza (without actually suggesting an alternative). No mention of the warning that the ship was given in the other video, or the invitation to a certain port. No mention of the terrorist organization behind the ship, *activists* and cargo. No, all MSNBC had time to do was fault Israel. I'm not impressed with the MSNBC's reporting.
Here,
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37446016#37447425 , the MSNBC talking heads with Andrea Mitchell (an Obama idolizing leftist) again attack Israel's actions by regurgitating ONLY what the Turks, Palestinians, "activists" and leftists around the world are saying, without telling Israel's side of the story or describing in accurate terms what those videos actually show (and again they only show small clips from them). In my opinion, there is no reason the MSNBC website can't carry or link people to the complete Israeli videos other than their not wanting to do so because it doesn't fit in with their political agenda … which is what they allowed Andrea Mitchell to spend most of the time spewing.
Then there is ABC's website. Again, no posting of the Israeli videos or links to them. It's almost as if ABCNews has no disk space for storing such material. Instead a single video,
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/attack-flotilla-kills-10794300 , focusing on the condemnation of Israel rather than what the Israeli videos show. The condemnation is more important than the facts of what happened, I guess. And while this video mentions the people "behind" the latest attempt to break Israel's blockade (that they are promising more ships), there is no mention of their being a terrorist organization, even according to the US State Department, as I noted in an earlier post. What unbiased reporting.
