In Palestine, peace is what happens when Israel is destroyed. See Article 22 of the PLO Charter.Activists would be a fine neutral term, don't you think? You can't really be a peace activist if you intend to start a fight when the soldiers come to stop your blockade running.
whats wrong with a "Free Palestine" banner?
Color me skeptical. I stopped giving Amnesty International my hard-earned money long ago, when I realized that they had gone off the deep end. And "an additional" $5 million? Big freaking deal. That's a rounding error for the billions of dollars that goes to Gaza. If these "activists" had spent 1/2 the effort in actually going through proper channels, they wouldn't need a stupid symbolic blockade, and 10 of them would still be alive. Maybe they picked up the martyrdom complex from their Palestinian hosts.
If by "Palestine" you mean the entire region that includes both the territories and Israel.
Mandela has an opinion? Presumably he has an anal orifice as well...Nelson Mandela disagrees with you and supports the aid workers, by the way. OH MY GOD WHAT A HORRIBLE TERRORIST!!!!
and is it what the group in question means?
I'm guessing the whole region.
When they say "occupation", they also mean Israel itself.
cite?
That's Thunder's straw man talking. And his straw man does a lot of talking...ETA - Thunder, do the italics mean that you are posting as someone else or what?

Palestinian militants, you see, are really peace activists.
Why do you hate peace qc?
Troll?
Holly cow, "symbolic blockade"?
It is symbolic mostly because Israel chose to attack it.Oops. I meant that their running the blockade was symbolic. The blockade is real.
And your evidence for this claim is...?As a side note the reason that this is being done is because putting the food and aid through the 'regular channels' basically ensures it almost never gets to anyone and stays in bureaucratic stasis. Getting it there directly is being attempted as a last resort because this is a huge crisis and people are dying.
Since the Egyptians are not Jews, I don't think anyone cares. So what has the UN said about Egypt's closed border with Gaza?
Given how well the current level of force worked, I can't blame them.Funny since israel is billing this as that they will respond to future attempts to run the blockade with even more escalating deadly force.
Apparently attacking Israeli soldiers and getting 10+ people killed when they fight back isn't enough to deter blockade runners.
Indeed. Of course since only one side actively instigated violence and the other side did it's best to show restraint until faced with lethal force, it's easy to guess which side you'll support.
This is untrue. The soldiers boarded the boat as they did with all the other in order to pilot it to the appropriate port and route the aid correctly, as the activists weren't interested in because that wouldn't server their politics. However, in this boat, the soldiers were attacked with pipes etc. and fought back.
I note you then posted the following, all of which took place after Hamas attained power in Gaza:Do you have any inkling of what life is like for the average Palestinians at the hands of Israel, and do you think it was any better for them before Hamas took power?
So in your opinion life is worse for them under Hamas, correct?
Are you really simulating false understanding about this, or you can't see that they say Zionism and not the State of Israel?
That voice was below deck inside a bathroom, correct?there are voices that claim the IDF shot first.
its claims vs claims.
