How would you feel if your boss one day whipped you so that your flesh would be torn and bleeding. Afterwards, you found out it was because you hadn't responded to his memo that he didn't give you.

Obviously, I was making a point that some things are impossible to prove, even your own birth on earth. But I guess some people didn't get that.

Oh I got that. I was highlighting what a stupid argument it was. In particular, I was pointing out that making sensational claims (someone raising from the dead) requires more evidence than a mundane claim (someone being born).

Ramsay said was a great historian regarding things that can be proven by historical and archaeological evidence. Given that fact it is more likely than not this is what the man Jesus (whom most historians believe was a historical person) said.

So, the 'great majority' are wrong. If there is a word of known meaning that is being consistently translated as something else, that doesn't make those translations correct.
