Where is Ron Paul on this???

Galileo? Galileo? Galileo? Galileo?

No Figaro!?! No Figaro-o-o-o-o!?!

Just so we are clear, I don't like Ron Paul. I just gave him too much credit. I thought he'd be consistent and not want the government to get involved in unnecessary fluff.

My mistake. He is not as consistent as I thought.

He's totally consisten. Galileo is not fluff. You react like a flat-earther.

Oh that isn't even the worst of it. Guess which politician on the Republican side had the most earmarks in the stimulus bill he voted against. That was back in 2009, of course, I found an essay written by a libertarian defending Ron Paul and his enormous earmark spending from 2007 as well. So consistency doesn't seem to be his bag.

Ron Paul is part of the religious right. I don't see him chomping at the bit to honor someone whose story of unjust suffering at the hands of christian authoritarians is used as a club against religion.

Not the mention that whole Earth-going-round-the-Sun thing. Ron Paul can't be too fond of that! I think he sponsored the bill to round pi to 3.

Ron Paul has never voted for an earmark. You are a bold faced liar. Other people voted for the earrmarks that benefitted Paul's district.

Galileo was prosecuted by the government, not by a religion. Galileo himself was a catholic.
