Robbie Thomas

He looks like a friggen JCW wrestler that got fired.

Sweet pic, lol.

" holy **** 3d , is that robbie , the nutsack, thomas workin' jumbos? "

" That may be Gweedo, i think i am going in and taking a **** on the table, and see what he does about it."

Keeping with the punk theme, he looks like the sort of dude who would try to impress punkettes by telling them he used to play bass for Pennywise....

Yeah, i swear he was the guy i used to know who said he was the lead singer for serial joe, lol.

The way i see it is the same way i see it when any entertainer has crappy promotional stuff.

If you can't take the time to make a good poster , you are not going to take the time to make a good show.

I tell that to my design students all the time!

I mean christ, i put up posters for shows in my punk days ( before all this fancy doing it on a computer came about.) that looked better than this.

If you would be so kind, shoot me some examples? I like to use underground club flyers in my class as examples.

Nothing like rub transfer typography, sharpies on tracing paper, and a Xerox machine to do artwork!

If i had any left i would be more than happy, but between the fact that they were nothing more than junk drawer pens and xerox, coupled with the last show i promoted was....3 years ago i think, maybe 4, right near when the club me and my band were supposed to play at burnt down. Makes any copies fairly......( yes i did this on purpose i legitimately remembered as i was about to finish up the post) actually i think there might be some old scene posters in with a box of crap sitting in our barn. That i know is there but havn't gathered up the gumption to go and find.

Sadly, I think it just got worse...

He spent money hunting down and paying psychics to help, not one of them giving him any helpful information, and he thinks Robbie Thomas will be the one.

Too bad the lead investigator is retired now. At least he knows enough to take anything Robbie Thomas says with a large grain of salt.

Does anyone remember the old ( early ninties , hey its old for me) show Crow about a caveman, the scene that comes to mind.....

" so you are the fruit, then you got sick, did it taste good?"

" no"

" then why did you eat it?"

" Thought the next one would taste better."

These psychic detectives totally exploit the fact that the police cannot afford the consequences of negligence if they ignore a psychic's "lead" if it just happens to be fruitful.

Purcell said he spoke to Thomas on the phone, and “in a short span of time he started telling me things I didn’t tell him that weren’t in the paper, things that went on before and after the fire that no one could have known.”

Thomas isn’t charging for his help, Purcell said.

Mike Vaughn, an Allen County sheriff’s deputy, said he has spoken to Thomas and has been invited to a seminar Thomas will be conducting May 7 at the Masonic Temple, 216 E. Washington Blvd. Thomas will do a reading for Purcell for free there, but members of the public will be charged $30 in advance to attend the seminar.

Un-effing-believable.

Ugh! Charging people to watch Robbie Thomas play on this man's hopes. So exploitative! I wish there was some way to cut a deal with Purcell ahead of time. Something like "If these leads go nowhere, you'll make that part of the public record."

Hi guys and girls. My first post although I've been reading the forum for years.
We'll soon have a psychic visitor to the local (Sarnia) area. Lorraine Scott, from the Cleveland area, will be bringing her magic show on May 16. She is the total package; psychic, healer, dead talker... Wow!

Dahnash, check out the Sarnia Skeptics blog, you are not alone in your small town.

I'm also Sherwood Skeptic, and am very familiar with that blog. (I chose "Danash" 2 yrs ago, when I joined the forum...I'm not very "chatty", as you can see). The new Stop Robbie Thomas site is great too. Good to see he's getting the publicity he deserves.
I sent Lorraine Scott links to Small Town Skepticism and Stoprobbie to show her how much we appreciate her kind here. No reply yet.

Doesn't seem he'd have the cash for such a trip, according to Ramses' release. Unless he conned someone in paying his way or ... maybe sex is involved (again).

Well, according to this, it sounds like Robbie wants to go but cannot:

Although it is very inarticulate. "So wish I"? lol
Maybe he is stupid and does not realize you can RSVP as "not attending" and still be able to leave a note.
