Jesus christ, who has been following me and recording my robbie thomas jokes for this? I demand answers you nwo thugs!

So kind of an update, the local paper has decided to snag an interview about robbie ( or psychics in general in sarnia, at this point it is somewhat up in the air) and lucky me i drew the short straw ( just kidding i am a huge fan of doing this. ) and get to be the voice of the sarnia skeptics to the paper.

I am pretty excited, and i will keep this board updated as information comes in. From the last e-mail i received, i should be getting a call or e-mail to set up things within the next couple of days.

This is the second part of a press release that Robbie Thomas' crew (John Ramses) sent to local media: (I personally like the "possible anthrax attack"!!!)

"Mr Thomas has been recently attacked by a local sarnia-based hate group who has connections in the Caughlin issue. Their web site attempts to defame and slander Mr Thomas in hope to discredit Mr Thomas in the public eye should he talk of his knowledge and participation in the Caughlin case.

The same hate-group recently disrupted a performance at the Imperial Theater in Sarnia, where Mr Thomas was performing a show, by harassing patrons and handing out white sealed envelopes with orders not to open the envelopes until they were inside and seated.

Many patrons left the venue fearing a possible anthrax attack. Of those who remained to see the show, only 40 made it inside before the theatre manager shut and locked the doors fearing for the safety of his crew and patrons.

Police were called to the scene but according to Mr Thomas' manager, John Ramses, who spoke to the Sarnia police of the incident, no one was arrested and the contents of the envelope were not investigated.

Mr Ramses, who is an Australian resident and both promoter and talent manager for Robbie Thomas, is currently seeking legal action against the Sarnia based hate group on several accounts."

Unfortunately little (if any) of what John Ramses says is true.

 Really? Wow...a fraud complaining about attacks on his person/character. Um...what about his assault on the public?

Great news...

Hopefully The Sarnia Observer gives it a serious treatment.

(Note to sadhatter: Thank you for doing this. I'd hate to blow my cover and have people realize that I, too, have an eye slightly below my belly button.)

My most recent blog entry gives a little backstory on Robbie Thomas and how I went from psychic believer to non-believer (or something like that).

I think it is important that people remember that we're talking about Robbie doing harm to real people and real memories. Penn Jillette said it well in the first episode of ********:
"We have nothing but empathy for the people who are experiencing the loss and grief of the death of a loved one. That guy who lost his mom rips my heart out. I'm a momma's boy whose mom died a couple of years ago, and I'll never get over it, and my dad died at around the same time, and I was very close to both of them. I loved them so much there isn't a moment that goes by that I don't miss them. Houdini didn't really go nuts busting these mediums until he lost his mom. Once you've felt that pure grief, seeing it exploited can take away your sense of humor. Once a loved one has died, all we have is our memories of them. There is nothing more precious to me than my memories of my mom and dad. We don't give a rat's ass about the money these bastards are taking from the grief stricken; what we do care about deeply is the desecration of memories. These "performance artists" are in a very real sense mother-f*****s. That poor guy's grieving memories of his mother are now all f****d up by somebody else's images. All he will ever have left of his mom are memories, and this pig has pissed on those for a buck and a little un-earned fame. I'm sure these lame f***s tell themselves that they're easing the grief, but skits for money can not replace loving memories. How low do you have to be to exploit someone's true grief to sell some ******** book?"

Apparently this is happening tomorrow. Can someone in that area record it.

Channel 21 ABC Tomorrow from Indiana, don't miss this exclusive interview on television interview begins at 12:30 in the afternoon.

Well robo you are the right man for the job. Can you get and record this program?

I am dying to see Robbie Thomas's face on YouTube along with ABC.

I'm predicting that for some reason ABC will not be able to run that interview with Robbie Thomas. Maybe someone's dog will be missing or a cat stuck in a tree? You know something important like that.

Uhhhh...it was hommage...yeeeah, that's the ticket!

1. If it was one of my regular flyer gigs, I probably would have spent more than 90 minutes on it...

2. My personal fave line was the Sylvia Browne one. But I find the image of some haggy charlatan doing the Camel Walk while the Famous Flames vamp on "Night Train" to be incredibly amusing...

3. Now that I know RT's real name, I can't get Meatloafs moobs out of my head. You, sir, shall be hearing from my solicitor!

Speaking of which, what typeface was that? I know I have it, I just don't remember the name.

We'll see if we can get Mr. Loaf to come testify at the trial. I can also see if I get get him to wear a wifebeater. After all, if they don't fit, you must acquit.

I'll do what I can, but I don't have any TV service in my house, all internet media here. You're probably right though, ABC might not air him. The way he talks, I could see some producer taking one look and going "uhhh, no."

Typo, yeah...I keep forgetting that PS has a spelchek...or is it Illustrator? Anyway, the argument could be made that it is how the band spells the name...

The SB type is....ummm....iforgetthename.ttf (-it's from some fonthouse called parashute...and that's not a typo.)

Anyone notice that the Robbie "supporters" commenting on that article all write in the same bad style as Robbie? Hmmm... no suprise there, he's the only friend he's got.

"All these comments from Robbie "supporters" sound exactly like Robbie himself, ill-spoken and narcissistic."

Magic 8-ball says....'all signs point to yes'...

InDesign... for maybe the CS5 versions has it. I never that far in the Beta.

"Presnts" is an awesome name for a band! 8-)

Lacko Frespect is the greatest promoter ever!

Wonderland! I finally found it. I don't remember paying that much for it, though.

Heh..all the replies that are attacking critics use not a name or nick, but a name designed to attack the critic.
So lame.

I have no idea how many people read those comments, but they will not come away with a good view of Robbie Thomas.

Our own Mark Edward will be featured in a segment on phone psychic junkies and the latest psychic scams on ABC’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA this coming Saturday at 7:00 a.m. and immediately on-line right after. He hasn't seen the edit, but if it’s half a hysterical as he expects – it will be worth a watch. They filmed him for 4 hours for a 3 minute segment. Who only knows what the result will be.

sgf8, that is 7am pacific time - my TV guide says 8am eastern with the western feed at 10am eastern which would be your 7am pacific.
