Don't try and defend him, he had no idea how tall Italian basketball guards are.
The main problem I have defending it is lack of the information he has regarding six serious crimes in 33 days. He refers to an article that does not list the details of these crimes, even if there are a couple of crimes that we are already aware of through other sources. I also don't like the headline of that Express article, grammatically confusing to me and indicative of sloppy editing. It is also confusing to me as to the source of the information, whether from Amanda's lawyers or independently verified. Perhaps more information will be coming soon on this or Dr. Waterbury will take up the issue and provide more details.
I haven't been able to find any reference to this bit of news. The shocking new evidence is the claim of "six serious crimes over 33 days before the killing."LAWYERS appealing against the murder conviction of Amanda Knox have been told they can’t use shocking new evidence.
It's been shown to you, Dan O, in post 7987. He's 179cm tall according to his ID card.
Thanks, I've had Kermit on ignore for some time. I will accept 179 unless a better measurement was made in 2007/8. Now, do we have a hight for the lawyer for comparison.
I posted an answer for an average guard. If you want to provide evidence that Italians are a diminutive people go ahead.
Finding a published record of Rudy's hight would be a better path to resolving this issue.

I think the point Dr. Waterbury is trying to make is that there were crimes, these crimes were ignored (because he was a police informant), and that is why he got a mitigated sentence (no criminal record). I am willing to concede that he may have information on this that is not public at this point (which was my point). But I don't like being accused of simple mud-slinging. Oh well.
I don't accept anything Fulcanelli says until it's backed by a source. In the post I quoted, Fulcanelli says he's not sure and since the measurements were in english units it was obviously a second hand source if not a fabrication or guess.

But you based your answer on that measurement.
I based my answer on Agatha's post that I was replying to. After that reply, I did a little more searching and found the source that I added to the reply. I had not even checked at that time to see that Fulcanelli guess was in the same range.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20003238-504083.html?tag=latestAdd to that the fact that in the past two years, Mignini has hurled satanic charges against 23 people.
It would be nice to see some facts in that article, all in all
IF this is anything other than made up, why are we only hearing about this two years in to the case? Is it just some generous counting based on the Monster of Florence business?
