First, they are not mutually exclusive. Second, I said your notion was dumb. I did not say you were dumb. I said you were willfully ignorant about the VFF saga, not that you are ignorant. That you have lied is abundantly clear: You have you not read my site "thoroughly" as claimed.

Honestly, I really don't have any feelings for you one way or another. I'm simply trying to focus the discussion. Like many before you, you have fallen into the trap of making it about me and other skeptics rather than about the paranormal claims and the actions of the person making them. At first it used to bother me, but I've realized that it's par for the course. My only interest these days is dealing with these diversions with as little energy as possible.

As I said before, if you want to contribute your ideas or offer criticism, go to my website. This thread is not about how I or anyone else deals with VFF. Of course, the subject comes up in every thread (often multiple times), so you can understand why I'm less than enthusiastic about engaging you over this. Maybe you'll be the first critic to take me up on my invitation to address your concerns where they belong. That would definitely get my attention. And, since even if I pass a paranormal test of scientific standard and receive the title of "true medical psychic" it does not give me the licence to dispense medical information in the way that physicians do. Even if I were never incorrect, there would be a disclaimer and a reminder to continue placing your trust in conventional medicine.

I have to see the person to receive information. I detect information about the health of celebrities when I see them on television, but I'd prefer to meet with a person. My radio show would have me meet with people and describe what I see on radio to the listeners. I would love to try this with you anyway. Is there any way you could send me a video of yourself? Do you have a webcam?

There's more, but this alone is ample enough evidence to demonstrate that there is a possibility that you will explore a woo career. Let's not forget you already had one as Alenara. Your constant seeking of publicity only reinforces this notion.

If you would take my advice and do your investigation privately and only present your results when you have reached a conclusion (that's how scientists do it), then nobody would be concerned at all. You have brought this all on yourself, so stop complaining.

This is further proof that you know very little about my site. I have removed maybe two posts total from the discussion boards as I recall and explained why. The blog comments must be approved manually because, get this, I allow them to be made anonymously (no registration required). The only ones I don't approve are the viagra spammers. Yesterday somebody came through and posted 14 of them.

Other than that, I allow them all to stand. Here's an example:

Honestly, what have you done that is REALLY useful as a skeptic? What do you do besides post on forums full of skeptics? At least I'm trying to help somebody, one that everybody else has condemned to be not worth helping. You've debunked her claims a thousand times over (and done a great job, I might add), but to continue doing so is redundant and wasteful.

And I have a hunch that Randi would disagree with your statement about skepticism. Analysis and critical thinking are the tools of skeptics, not the justification. The purpose is still to help people, otherwise we're just a bunch of nitpicking naysayers trying to claim the higher ground of rationality.

She is an adult, she has a boyfriend and a college career, she does not need to be reasoned out of her woo. If that were possible she would be already a skeptic. Because that has not happened the alternatives are not something the forum can help her with.

That's if you believe him. If you look back at his first posts, you can see he was quite serious. Once he realized he was looking foolish, he decided that it was best if he played it off like he was baiting me or something. My toddlers do the same thing.
