There was a rather long and heated thread titled "ET Corn Gods",started by an older guy, so you'd be wrong. This thread actually went into litigation so I don't think it's search-able, however, there are many more threads by old guys that have been long and rather heated. Research is your friend.

Robo ~ I mean this sincerely but just reading the last 4 pages to catch up on my thread you are really worrying me. You really seem to have this rescue Anita problem. She is an adult, she has a boyfriend and a college career, she does not need to be reasoned out of her woo. If that were possible she would be already a skeptic. Because that has not happened the alternatives are not something the forum can help her with.

If you really want to rescue something, go to the SPCA and get a cat. That is real love.

I'm kinda immune to the cute factor, being a hetro female and all. The only reason I'm willing to take a wait-and-see stance is because she's young. Plenty of people have held strange beliefs in their 20's which hold no fascination in their 40's. Plenty of people have been helped through a rough patch in their lives by some small amount of patience and understanding.

If I'm wrong, it changes nothing. So there isn't any reason to be overly-judgmental.

Maybe the really bad sound quality in the first one put people off, I skipped the first few and then watched 4-8 in which you could hear better what was being said.
But OMG it was painful watching VFF trying to magically see through that napkin for 15 mins or so.
Or maybe hoping that the guy did get cramp and wiggle his fingers.

Just watched 4. The hemming and hawing before the finger test was telling. Especially the look on her face when she's not saying anything.

One thing bugs me about the finger test: the results are not self-evident since we don't really know for sure if the guy changed fingers after she answered. Not that I think he did, it's just that we can't be 100% positive.

I think that as her potential agent, you should know that Anita will most likely use her banning here for the purpose of furthering her own agenda.

I've held a few odd beliefs before becoming a rehabilitated woo. But, as it pertains to this discussion, I didn't break free of the woo because people politely indulged me. I broke free because they were kind enough to be cruel and brook zero nonsense.


That might not work for everybody, but from my own experience I know that the merest indulgence is a liferaft for rationalizing the irrational. Since everybody else has already given theirs, my own opinion on the matter is that Anita has been indulged plenty enough already.

Her claim failed scrutiny, it's over.

She's gotten it, or at least that what she claims. She claims she has told her practitioner (not sure what type of degree) about her paranormal stuff, but the doc didn't seem concerned. We all know how good she is at spin, so you can guess that it was more like "I have some interesting observations that are like synesthesia" rather than "I have been talking to ghosts since I was a child and to this day sometimes they frighten me or move me to tears." To the best of my knowledge depression and panic attacks were the only diagnoses.

Family members and others close to those with NPD want to "fix" them, but it can't be done. They develop their own issues, and if they manage to extricate themselves from the cycle, they find themselves attracted to other NPDs because they always hold out hope.

They think if they can just get the person to realize how special they are without all that other stuff, everything will be okay. Problem is, it's never enough, and this "but you're so special on your own" routine just feeds the narcissist's need for attention. Round and round they go.

Anita has, imo, a greater chance to grasp another type of lifestyle if she stays away from the JREF.

Finally someone asked an obvious question. Did Mark change his fingers once Anita starting saying what she thought she saw. I could tell on the videos that I made there were several times I moved in close so I could hear the sound better so that meant his fingers were out of the frame. Also there were times that she was not staring at the fingers. The answer is "no" I never noticed him moving his hand at all, nor did anyone else at the table. Spencer was right there and I'm sure he would have noticed. But then again, why didn't she use this when she got it wrong? I don't know.

So I went out to play pool, I've been gone a couple hours and I come back and see edited and red letters all over the last page. Notes from the Mods and posts that make no sense because they are responding to posts that don't exist anymore. Can someone please tell me what happened? I saw some deletions from Anita's posts, it looked like she was saying nasty stuff to someone. That didn't seem like her at all, I thought she was sweetness and sugar to the max.

PM me please as I don't want to get off topic. But I want to know what I missed.
