Just when we thought there was already enough evidence showing that 9/11 commission was being controlled, it just keeps on piling up. I wonder how debunkers will spin this one.

so what?

what does informing the 9/11 commission that it couldn't interview Al Qaeda detainees have to do with 9/11 being an inside jobby job?

it even states WHY they were told no...

It is much more intersting noticing how truthers try to spin NO NEWS into some sort of "proof."

I don't think these guys take the time to see who was working on the 911 Commission staff. I concentrate on the Pentagon attack, and one of those staffers was right across the street when it happened in his office and another was actually inside the Pentagon and barely escaped alive. They were NEVER told to back off of anything and quite frankly would have been first in line to hang anyone they suspected to have been involved in the government. However, they found NO evidence of an "inside jobby" and after reviewing ALL of the available evidence (the same they had by the way) I concur with them. As far as I can tell, the worst case scenario in the case of the Pentagon attack was that some individuals had more advance warning than they led the 911 Commission to believe. However, even in that case, the information was not distributed to anyone who could have taken action on it until Dulles picked up the plane just a few minutes out.

I suspect even the intelligence community knew more than they told the 911 Commission, but I can't prove it, so I don't make the charge. For the most part, it looks to me that the 911 Commission did a great job with what they had. Did they miss some minor details? Yes, I guess they did. However, none of that changes the fact that 19 jihad-crazy Arabs hijacked 4 commercial airliners and changed the course of American history as we watched on CNN.

The government urged the Commission, “Not to further pursue the proposed request to participate in the questioning of detainees,” according to the letter, citing the need to “Safeguard the national security, including protection of Americans from future terrorist attacks.”

The warning was just one example of how the Bush administration fiercely struggled to prevent the 9/11 Commission from conducting a deeper probe into the attacks. Bush and Cheney refused to appear before the Commission separately and both refused to testify under oath, instead meeting with panel members informally and in private, with no recordings of the meeting allowed.

However, the refusal to allow access to detainees was also undoubtedly so that the Commission members couldn’t later blow the whistle on the fact that the men were nothing more than patsies and goat herders who had nothing whatsoever to do with the 9/11 attacks.

It has to do with the fact that the administration never wanted the Commission to do a thorough investigation, it didn't want them to access the videotapes of the interviews and didn't want them "to cross a line."

And yes the administration did tell them why: so that national security wouldn't be jeapordized. Since the administration can invoke that privledge any time they want, it's obvious there never was and never will be a thorough investigation into 9/11.

You buy that lame excuse, most wouldn't. Their deceit is obvious.

And so, as usual, we see that the aim of the conspiracy theorist is to discard understanding rather than add to it.

It seems fairly obvious to anyone that the delay in formation of the 9/11 Commission was because the Bush administration was afraid of being found culpably negligent, and that the limits placed on it were because the Bush administration was afraid of being found to be using criminal interrogation techniques. But the real failings of the Bush administration don't demonise it to the satisfaction of the fanatic, so they have to make up some imaginary ones.

The uselessness of the 9/11 Commission Report as well as the process used in the preparation of it has been well established from the outset. One of the first events tht confirmed that uselessness was the Bush/Cheney refusal to testify separately, on the record.

In the absence of information from the president and vice president, it is not possible to know what happened on 9/11.

So, the additional disclosure that the Commission was specifically "warned" NOT to investigate while significant, is basically not new information.

We know the 9/11 Commission Report is not worth the paper it is written on, let alone the trees felled to supply the paper.

And yes the administration did tell them why: so that national security wouldn't be jeapordized. Since the administration can invoke that privledge any time they want, it's obvious there never was and never will be a thorough investigation into 9/11.

And that is also why 9/11 can legitimately be characterized as a false flag operation, done intentionally by unknown entities for unknown reasons, however, as to those reasons, it is almost certain they had a lot to do with profit motivation.

Deceit is obvious. The slowness of the public reaction to deceit is disappointing, but the public does appear to be on the verge of coming to grips with the fact that 9/11 was a false flag op and almost ready to start demanding accountability.
