Gday,
The issue is who claimed to have met Jesus themselves.
Actually the apostle Paul claimed to have met Jesus on the road to Damascus.
Wrong.
Haven't you READ Paul?
Paul does NOT mention the Damascus road conversion at all.
Someone ELSE wrote those stories in Acts.
All Paul says himself is that Jesus APPEARED to him - i.e. in a VISION.
"Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me."
Paul had a VISION of Jesus.
So what?
People have VISIONS of Jesus, and Buddha, and Krishna etc. to this day.
So what?
Like I said :
There are NO authentic claims to have met Jesus personally.
And Paul also wrote Jesus appeared to all the apostles and at least 500 others with over 250 still alive when he wrote it.
Paul says OTHER people had VISIONS.
So what?
Like I said :
There are NO authentic claims to have met Jesus personally.
Paul was really putting his whole ministry (where he often risked his life) on the line by putting this in writing if it wasn't true.
If WHAT wasn't true?
Paul said he had a VISION.
How could that put his life on the line?
Please explain.
And it would seem the first 14 or 15 people listed on this site met Jesus:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christian_martyrs
Really?

I asked for ACTUAL PERSONAL CLAIMS to have met Jesus personally.
And you could NOT QUOTE ONE !!!!
(You also ignored the issue of FOUR DIFFERENT TOMBS of Jesus.)
