What about this crop circle?

Evidence?

And these, I take it, are incomplete citations of scientific articles in mainstream peer-reviewed journals?

Or are they publications on par with Kevin Trudeau's Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About or Charles Bertlitz' The Bermuda Triangle or Erich von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods?

Ha-ha, that's where you're wrong. Psi is mostly unconscious, that's why it's so damn elusive and tricky. Combine our collective unconscious psi with a holographic universe and presto! you have elusive anomalies like UFOs and crop circles and remote viewing and missing time.

All of that is wrong as well. You're on a hat trick.

What's that mess about?

I think it was an attempt at providing evidence of an extraordinary claim without involving the conscious mind.

ETA: You've heard of "automatic writing"? That was an example of "automatic posting".

.
All of the above, and the Bible.

Thank you for nothing! And there is a circle in it! :p

Dont know why you need to be an idiot, but thats your problem... not mine.

You did not answer my questions either!

WOW, your update is worth NOTHING.. other than to make you look like a fool!
A friendly note: this post appears perilously close to attacking the arguer because you do not like the argument/responce - which frequently draws mod ire when reported and verified. You asked about a crop circle, we know the ways crop circles can be done so lacking evidence that this one A) could not have been done by any known method and/or B)could not have been done with our current technologies the responce was quite reasonable, if dismissive. If neither A nor B then it's just a circle jerk and got the normal attention/commentary it deserves. If A or B or both, then please mention the basic elements proving either or both so we can determine if we should spend time going to the site.:)

Actually, it was...

A curious man from Dow-Corning,
Liked to do things without warning.
He left one day
In a relative way
And came back the previous morning!

put "any" before warning(line2)
"there" before one(line 3)
and although it doesn't really alter the scheme, I would also put "on" before the (Line 5)

No version of this I have seen scans properly for a limerick. But here's a crapload of funny science stuff including two versions of it and Bright and a lot of other stuff: http://www.oipaz.net/V_ScienceJokes.html

:D:D:D
ETA, think I have it:

Reduced his long blade to a disc.

If you want to be picky, the last line really doesn't scan properly. You'd have to treat the word "long" as a short (or unstressed) syllable. You can read it that way, but it's forced.

Higgledy-Piggledy, my black hen,
She lays eggs in the relative when.
She doesn't lay eggs in the positive now,
Because she's unable to postulate how.

The Spacechild's Mother Goose!! Wonderful when it came out in the 60's and wonderful when reissued in the last ten years or so!!!

I'll keep on it!!:D:D

Because, as an educator I have been subjected at way too many meetings to people (other teachers, admins, counselors ) who thought they could parody popular songs to "entertain" at said meetings. I have some skill at it thanks to Mad Magazine in my youth and a LOT of practice at it.

There's circles in crops,
ETs in the shops
and the Moon is a silver balloon.

And here at the forum,
with a lack of decorum
the sceptics just point and say 'Loon!'

Or something.

Someone was saying here the other day that some believers are so intent on believing that even when the creators of these patterns admit to their shenanigans, they'll accuse the pattern makers of being gubmint shills, trying to cover up the awful truth that all our base are belong to ET.

Pretty sad, although Fox Mulder would probably approve.
