To give credence to a summary without evidence is nore foolish. Do you know how big the galaxy is, and that you can't go faster that the speed of light? The math is daunting..

MY conclusion is that these things aren't "alien" at all, but rather they have always been here, or rather "up there" for as long as we have been here...

Absolutely correct.

No astronomical alignment at all, really, and these were the most superstitious people in the history of superstition. In fact, they probably invented it, but the fact is, they had more sense than to try and use it as a basis for architecture and engineering,

Well, I wasn't, but I will. These things were built over a period of hundreds of years, so there was sufficient evolution of design during that period that the last tomb built would bear little resemblance to the first.

A lot of these designs were nothing more than Royal whim too, and that was pretty much the only rule.

I'd be asking myself what the later versions were based on.

In an ideal world, the events would appear as they had in contemporary reports, whether those were wrong or right. The newer reports would then expand on that, if possible, with any new information that had come to light.

From all of that, the reader makes a judgement call.

The way these things are worked out is a bit like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Some of the pieces are missing, others are scattered and some have been forced into the wrong position.

A piece in the wrong position will pass muster at a cursory examination, but it won't fool Dr Hawass for long.

I remembered the first individual to go really really deep, came back talking about seeing glowing crap, down there. Some dismissed his reports.

So you saw something inexplicable, if its only woo alien sites making you think theres a connection between your experience and all the other supposed "mysteries" then you should evaluate the connection itself, not the lack of supporting evidence.

Do you think such a pharaoh would be allowed to get away with such a change? Certainly, the pharaoh was essentially a god in human form - but the Egyptians did not believe the gods were infallible and omnibenevolent; that being a Judeo-Christian formulation. The Egyptian gods fought, argued, and occasionally had attitude problems that they took out on people. The gods were not perfect, and neither was their representative.

Not to pick on him (well actually, yes), Akhenaten was a pharaoh and changed just about everything, made all kinds of proclamations, and even moved the administrative capital of Egypt to quite frankly the middle of nowhere. All these changes lasted pretty much until he died - at which point the "god's decrees" were all reversed or annulled in short order. Not only that, but there began a systematic destruction of any and all findable traces that Akhenaten ever existed at all. Why? Because he was weird and crazy. If you don't believe he was crazy, consider that most of the statues he commissioned of himself had breasts. Totally.

The Great Pyramid would've been a source of immense national pride for the Egyptians. Nothing any other contemporary culture did was as massive, tall, and imposing. I'd think they wouldn't allow some ego-driven blowhard to co-opt it as his own. If Ramesses II didn't do it, no one else would've - that's what I think.
