Ya know what I really love about Eric Jon Phelps? If you were casting a movie and had to find a "whackjob rightwing racist conspiracy theorists likely to go postal and start shooting people, e.g. Eric Jon Phelps", you could just hire Phelps to play himself and save a fortune on looking for a cross between Jimmy Woods and Bruce Dern.

Google "Eric Jon Phelps & Pictures". The guy's glossies belong on a post office wall.

Oh, and my MDC prediction: OP will, once again, either not return to this thread or will return for a maximum of one post. Even Bill Smith, JJ, and Childlike don't try to rally 'round ol' Bwinwright. (But he can at least be counted on for keeping the CT threads entertaining.)
 
ETA: Does anyone know if Phelps is a relation to Fred's crowd? I've never seen any association. Eric's usually hanging out with Alex J and Eric H and their ilk.

yes, but in the third he said "Mr Fusion powers the time circuits and the flux capacitor. But the internal combustion engine runs on ordinary gasoline, it always has. There's not going to be a gas station around here until sometime in the next century. Without gasoline, we can't get the DeLorean up to 88 miles per hour."

I was just down at the ranch where they filmed that movie the other day. Sadly the whole town set they built burnt down some years ago.

Anyways, back to the "time traveling Federal Reserve."

That's very strange, because I actually did the research. I typed "two biggest criminal organisations in the world" into Google and pressed the "I'm feeling lucky" button, and it took me to a Wikipedia article that listed "the Russian Mafia, the Serbian mafia, the Israeli Mafia, the Albanian Mafia, Mexican and Colombian Drug Cartels, the Indian Mafia, the Chinese Triads, Chinese Tongs, Irish Mob, the Corsican Mafia, the Japanese Yakuza, the Jamaican-British Yardies, the Turkish Mafia, the Macedonian Mafia and other crime syndicates" as the biggest criminal organisations in the world. None of these seem to be on your list. I'd like to believe you, but having researched this topic exhaustively by conspiracy theorist standards, it seems that your starting assumption may be a bit hard to substantiate.

I wonder...what are the qualifications to be an evil organization? Is it sufficient that it have a cool name, or does it have to have secret rituals?

Perhaps it just has to SEEM mysterious to someone who can't be bothered to learn about the actual organization.
