Vera's lame, after-the-fact attempted excuse that he was just playing along, is hardly "proof".
What the hell do you mean "after the fact?" Give me the date that Vera contacted his man on the police force and when the pimp and sleaze started going public. Keep your brain engaged while you look it up. The pimp has nothing admissible in a court of law, thus has proven bugger-all.
None of the employees that tried to lie their way out of it reported it to their bosses, clearly indicating that it was an afterthought to save themselves which is exactly how management saw it.

What he did was illegal and indefensible. That the son of a man that Landrieu was trying to get rid of so that an actual public servant could take his place was with the pimp makes the whole thing smell that muich more rotten.
Get this straight. If what the person you are harrassing is not illegal, there is no justification in the world for you to do an illegal thing to her. The pimp stinks to high heaven. Anmd the Flanagan larva should bloody well have known that.
Obviously everything was seized the minute he was arrested so he could not have edited the video. His own video will help his case and it looks doubtful that this will go far in the courts.
Guess what. His videos are only proof that he was dirty. If the prosecution decides to not enter them, the judge does not have to let the pimp enter them because he has a reputation for manipulating videos. He has nothing other than the fact that he was there under false pretenses. There is no reason in the world for anybody to believe that the pimp is telling the truth now.
He had no right to investigate the complaints in the first place. Take off your Freeper blinders. The pimp lied to you.
BTW, the charging papers, according to the latest report I have seen on Yahoo News, mention Dai having a listening device. ALL the evidence points toward the probability that he had feloneous intent.
