Yes you are correct. We should probably say Architects and Engineers and Others for 9/11 truth, but then we would have more than 5,000 members from around the world who support us. Although we do not have the resources to check who signs in, so its not really verifiable.

I would guess that there are more ACSE members in the NYC area than there are members of all sorts in AE911. Many of these ACSE members were involved at WTC. None of them have said anything about anything but gravity collapse.
 
Im just using their numbers for a comparison.

I have not seen any engineering journal, or orginization, or fire engineering journal, or, really, anything of that nature, publish anything else than what had actually occured on 9/11

Now that they have 1000 and some fake names too, why can't they earn a Pulitzer Prize for exposing the evil plot by the unknown evil people? In less than 2 years Watergate was exposed and a Pulitzer was earned; why are 1000 of Gage's buddies failures? hint; no evidence

Which of the 1,000 of Gage's drones are gullible followers or just unable to think for themselves?

if you are sitting on evidence to help Gage better send it to him he is still 100 percent evidence free, working mainly with hearsay, lies and idiotic delusions.

Hey we have 5 licensed structural/civil engineers registered in the New York State that were brave enough to sign up and we probably have double that in the tri-state area. So we have some support

I used different figures.

AE911T claims 1000 members. That is debatable as it is already known that some are deliberate false entries meant to highlight the lax standard of 'membership'. We also know that the vast majority are NOT licenced engineers or architects... but let's accept their membership as being 1000 licenced and practicing engineers / architects.

How many people are members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), which is just one of the many professional organisations? They have different membership standards, but to be a full member you must have - at a minimum - a Bachelor's degree from a school having an ABET/EAC-accredited or substantially equivalent civil engineering or related engineering program. You can be a licenced and practicing engineer but still not meet the requirements for a full member.

So I will only look at full members of the ASCE.

There are 82,817 full members of the ASCE as of 30 SEP 09.

So being most generous to AE911T and most restrictive to the ASCE, 1.2% of ASCE membership might support the AE911 claims.

Just look at the link to 911blogger that Metamars provided. In that one Gage explains what teir plans are for 2010 (or at least the first 6 months):

- hold a press conference to announce they've hit the 1000 mark
- attend two twoofer-conferences
- maybe debate a physicist on a cable network

As you said, it's only about politics and preaching to the choir (got to keep those donations coming).

Nice.. I agree ! One is enough and Richard Gage is our one..

See unlike Einstein convincing other scientists about some new phenomenum, the CD of the towers is so well understood that even Richard understands it, an architect with no previous tall building experience. He is now the Architect of Destruction and convinces over 90% of the people he talks to so we just need to get him in a room with some real engineers.

There is 10,000 going to the ASCE conference... I am sure that is the solution.

Let Gage come to NYC and give his lecture where a full Q&A discussion is allowed. I suspect a room full of ACSE members and and eyewitnesses, including firemen and the other first responders could be arraigned.

Gage has never spoken in front of a group of engineers or anywhere where he didn't control the Q&A microphone. Nobody from AE911 has.

I wonder why.

The number is now 1,017 - it's what they have listed on their webpage. Other than that, it has no significance.

Of course he hasn't. He's never attended a conference or a professional meeting with this crap, either. But then he doesn't seem to be even trying to do anything other than raise money. If he really wanted to attract attention from the press, he'd be far more active. Why not get his AE911 members out and protest outside a TV station? Except that then it'd become apparent that he doesn't have any architects or engineers. Or that none of his signed members will even show.
