Continuation - NSA Document Flight 93 intercepted coming soon

He may as well have asked for evidence of an army of robots, all modeled after Grace Slick Jones, poised to burn our cities to the ground.

If you're gonna do crazy you gotta do it right is all I'm saying...

No.

As a safeguard against that kind of deception, another member here (16.5) filed a FOIA request for the exact same information - using the information ULTIMA1 put out in the original thread.

Honestly, that's the only reason why this thread exists - the faint glimmer of hope that one day 16.5 will receive the FOIA response and post it here in all its hilarity.

Since ULTIMA1's been banned for some time now, I don't predict a rosy future for this thread.

True Dat, although it has been way more than a year since I sent my FOIA request.

Not really happy with NSA, to be honest.

Happy New Year!

There has been progress on my mirror FOIA! Miserably little, mind you, but progress all the same.

The NSA reports that they have received the input from the other Departments to whom they referred this matter, and now is the "stack" for "final review."

They said call back in a month. What the hell, it has only been 14 months, what is another month?

14 months to get you a piece of paper. Remember, these are the guys that were supposed to fake plane crashes, demolishing sky scrapers, faking voices of victims to their loved ones, and pulled off all sorts of conspiracies beyond anything ever known to man kind.

They just aren't as good at paper work.

Maybe they're doing the redactions by hand with a really really fine-point marker.

Well, the explanation for the delay is what Joey said... but they accidentally assigned it to an intern who only had a fine-point highlighter. So they had to go back over his work with a real marker.

On the plus side, the intern identified everything that needs redaction. ;):D

Anyone who works in the government coulda told you that. ;)

The amount of unnecessary paperwork I see in my day-to-day activities boggles my mind.

Indeed....

From my experience I'm not sure if they ever do anything efficiently...

Had they planned 9/11 to be an inside job they would have had to have done the initial planning a very long time ago....

There would have been years of meetings, power point briefings, white papers, revisions, etc

The operation would have evolved into something completely different than originally planned...it would have ended up being a guy on a bicycle with an M-80 in his pocket...

Or....it started out like that but evolved into the Rube Goldberg monstrosity that truthers are trying to shove down our throats today.

true....that is another path that government projects sometimes take....

Update:

So they sez call back in another month they sez.

All the agencies have reported back, they sez.

So I call back: guess how many agancies HAVE IN FACT reported back?

__ All of them
__ Not all of them.

This FOIA is like fine wine, it needs to age a wee bit more.

Next month, same place.

No offense....but I doubt your FOIA request is at the top of anyones "to do" list....

If I was in a position where I had to deal with FOIAs (thankfully I don't) I might have a hard time putting them at the top of my list...since there are other more pressing matters I have to deal with....

Ha, it is worse than that! I am actually behind Ultima's FOIA!

On the other hand, you'd think with a title like "FOIA Office" they'd be pretty interested in actually responding to FOIA requests.
