Global Cooling in 2009 (375 Sources)

The simple question here which no seems willing to address (or even contemplate it seems) is the CURRENT trend is flat or down !

I don’t care where you start it from, the CURRENT is the last few years !

ALL Doomsayer graphs from 10 years ago pointed to a CONTINUED warming over this current period.

It ISN’T happening.

The ONLY predictive graph I can remember (from at least 1 years ago) that has remained close to actual trends was POPTECHS !!!

That’s hilarious.. and Megaladon even reposted it above.. check its trend !

Its goes up and down.. just like the temperatures seems to do !

It doesn’t even deny an overall warming trend.. just makes a joke of a catastrophic trend .. and does NOT correlate with CO2 levels !

Winter? No. It's GLOBAL COOLING!!! Just look at the trends since September! By next July it's likely going to be -40 degrees F.

Aussie Thinker - last year was the warmest on record. Sorry, but you can't be pushing the extremes and be at the end of a 50 year significant warming trend and convince me its over...

I think it’s the term “significant” that I have a problem with.

Warming.. sure.. mild and sustainable warming.. It seems so.

The thing I was making a big fuss about was that for all the lambasting he gets.. Poptechs graph (the old one Megaladon posted.. not the latest ones which he is posting to make a point) was FAR more predictive than any other I’ve seen !

Have an honest look at his graph.. it sticks with reality far closer than any others. And it DOES show warming.. he isn’t cherry picking or making stuff up.. Its just not alarmist.

The warming signal is overwhelmed by the short term noise in the short periods of time you are talking about. It's like the AM radio when it is a long way from the transmitter. The noise is the loudest thing you can hear.
 
Aussie Thinker. If you think this rate of increase is sustainable by our human civilization, you've not studied the matter sufficiently. The whole point is that this much warming continuing on over the next century has some very bad consequences.
