WHPS Gibbs answer regarding C-SPAN's request that candidate Obama live up to his promise suggests Lamb will be sheared by the Dems.

Did candidate Obama make any such caveat regarding his pledge guaranteeing transparent government and his promise to allow C-SPAN access to the legislative procedures on health care?
 
Plus the right has done the best it can to bring a case against transparency. With the outright lies about making private insurance illegal using out-of-context quotes from early bill, to claims that back-rolling the bill would be made illegal in the more recent bills, is all the more case against transparency. If the right could actually point to real mistakes in the bill that would be a better case for transparency. But so far the right has only used transparency for generating FUD with the bill text as a false attribution.

What evidence, other than your own paranoia, do you have that Lamb is pretending to be something he is not, or that he is playing politics?

it is THEIR President, who did not want an investigation into 9-11.

it is THEIR President, who wanted warrantless wiretaps.

I don't recall the plugs being pulled on the Cspan cams on the floor debates...that's where they usually are.

Cspan1=the House

Cspan2=the Senate

Cspan3=I don't get that one :confused:

If you believe that then what is your excuse for why libs don't give a **** about transparency in government when candidate Obama made that a cornerstone of his candidacy? Don't you want to see the pols inaction broadcasted during reconciliation?

There has been an increase in transparency.

And who knows, there might be C-SPAN at the reconciliation. The broken promise on this particular C-SPAN case is hingent on something that has yet to be commented upon. The C-SPAN sent the letter on the 30th of December. Your Gibbs quote is from last summer.

Furthermore: the letter isn't even addressed to the administration. It is addressed to the houses of Congress.

Obama's promise on transparancy in health care negotiations was broken when he made a deal with Big Pharma, this is old news.
