Ok, this thread is for bill and others to make the arguments for and against the connection between the USG carrying out the attacks of 9/11, and the alleged lie made by the scientific community (and others) who make the argument that man is significantly contributing to Global Warming.

Here is my problem with it. If I am reading this right, bill is saying that the same people who carried out 9/11 to go get the middle east oil, are also perpetuating a lie that Global Warming is caused by Fossil Fuel use.

WHY??? Why would they do that? What am I missing?

The way I understood him was that they're both examples of a lie so big and bold the sheeple can't imagine how it could be a lie. He didn't say anything about the lies being from the same source (but he probably does believe that; at least if he read it on some CT site that tells him what to think). I hope he comes here to explain.
 
Heres the greatest contradiction for truthers also being AGW deniers.

Truthers claim the government can control the media, any media and espeically FOX news down to the last detail.

And yet people like FOX news are AGW deniers! So we have truthers end up believing that the government wont use their almighty powers to make their media agree with the AGW scientists.
 
I don't know about Bill or whatever other Truth gumbis post here. I read all the crazies and am a covert member of these new radical groups. Many of them argument that the NWO is capable of weather control. The weather is alread being manipulated and as result, any weather change we see is the product of NWO population control programs.

Right, the NWO went to war to get all the oil and gas from Iraq and Afghanistan so they can put it all in a bag barrell, then they'll tell everyone that it's evil to use the oil from the big barrell and Dick Cheney will park his wheelchair on top of it and threaten to shoot - in the face! - anyone who uses it. So all the poor people will die from no heating when global cooling reaches ice age temperatures and meanwhile the NWO will be driving around in SUVs happy that they have caused 5 billion people to die of the cold, and swine flu and Gulf War Syndrome which they made, in a lab. And everyone's got microchips in them too.[/twoof]

The parallel/analogy is in the processes that they use, not necessarily the same persons.

You should also include "Creationists" (Or "Intelligent Designers")

The techniques are much the same. Just a few examples:

The "global false dichotomy":
"You cannot prove there wasn't thermate on site THEREFORE demolition"
"You cannot [yet] show how it evolved THEREFORE Goddidit."

The "reversal of burden of proof":
"The security was reduced so you prove it wasn't demolition".

(Note: That example also asks "prove a negative" and it uses only one alleged true fact which is potentially the first of a near infinite series - so prove one wrong and "they" rebound with another as infinitum/nauseum)

The "beg the questions" a la "have you stopped beating your wife" style.

etc etc

We should write up catalogue then we could answer in shorthand. Paragraph by paragraph

As we all know the media have traditionally only shown the government side of the 9/11 story. Currently, through the growth and sheer persistence of the Truth Movement they have been forced to pay a little lip service to our views.

A parallel to this in the GW debate can be seen in these links. These articles were published.....but who among you has ever heard this shattering information ? Do you see it on TV or read it in the Washington Post ? Did it make headlines- an utter bombshell like this ? It was released interestingly on the eve of the Copenhagen conference. Read the comments in the Telegraph article.

Come on, Bill. This is pretty weak stuff there. I admit the "growth and sheer persistence of the Truth Movement" line is pretty funny but it's also nothing new. I was hoping for a more thorough analysis of the Big Lie.

Analysis? Some hope. I'm still waiting to hear bill's exact theory about what happened on 9/11.Something tells me that I'll be waiting a long time.

I'm obviously just fishing for Stundies here, but in this post bill claimed that he would like to bring the Light of Truth about AGW and 9/11 to the masses. So far that light is pretty dim and disappointing.
