What is it they do then ? They can produce multiple seperate damning reports but unless they start to drive a joined-up campaign nothing happens.

The media as a whole were not "on board" with either the science or the 'skeptics'. It was probably about 60/40 in favor of the science. But that 40 is still a huge number.

If that is really what they do then there is no way that the government is on the outside of that.I think we are essentially talking about one organisation however they may make it look.

As far as I can rmember America was always the black sheep of the family of Nations when it came to joining up with the GW crowd. Then suddenly Bush signed up. But maybe it was politically expedient to do so while not being what they really wanted.

That would help to explain the FOX articles and possibly various leaks. Who knows- maybe the Russians played ball. Now there is no agreement and America stands blameless. It could be some variation on that.

The collapse of the 'big lie' of AGW spins off even further. On today's news I heard an Iranian official saying that the US is regularly forging documentary evidence to implicate Iran in things like testing a nuclear trigger. The Ianians categorically deny this and people will now be much more inclined to believe them- and with considerable justification.

The thing is people will now see any 'big lie' while it's still under construction so the implications are huge.
