Perfect Putdown for a holocaust denier...

Essentially, Safran performs a fake radio interview with Irving (who does not appear to be in on the joke), much of it involving bizarre discussions about which races Irving feels it is OK to find attractive. They then discuss Auschwitz, and Irving trots out his old lines about more people dying in Ted Kennedy's car than in the camps at Auschwitz, which he compares to Disneyland.

Safran then pauses the interview for a commercial break and walks out, saying he's taking a break. He then releases an unidentified gas into the interview room, telling Irving through the glass: "If anyone asks me about this, I'll deny it!"

Shamelessly off topic, but I just wanted to say that I'm going to sort of miss your previous avatar but seeing as I'm a big fan of Scott Walker, I can live with the new one.;)

I'm afraid I didn't see the point. How was Irving supposed to react?

He was supposed to put on a tape of Yakkety Sax then run around the console pursued by scantily-clad nurses.

That's what I usually do in that sort of circumstance, it's typical that a holocaust denier has no sense of what's appropriate.

Funny, this forum is full of fun funnies.

I've never properly understood why people like Irving and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claim that the Nazi holocaust never happened. Surely anti-Semites would be Holocaust approvers rather than deniers?

Then again, they are irrational and as Pardalis said should be ignored. (Unless they're in charge of a large and hostile army...)

I didn't mention it before, but presumably when Irving says that men tend not to marry outside their own race, he is talking about white men. Otherwise just who does he think these women who marry outside their own race are married to?
