The VFF Test is On!

I have not made claims throughout my life.

And, http://www.visionfromfeeling.com/foodperceptions.html

The descriptions of perceptions on this page are to be considered as the subjective impressions of one person and as not based on reality since they have not been proven as correct and there is no reason to assume them to be correct. Scientific literature will describe known composition and effects of consumption of a variety of foods.

It is this sort of intellectual dishonesty that makes dealing with Anita so futile. On her site she claims to perceive cancer cures within food. But, when questioned, she tosses up a disclaimer. If these perceptions have need of a disclaimer, they are not valid enough to publicize and yet she expects them to be taken seriously.

Have you read the literature that explains in great detail why you cannot make that claim? Do you understand why this is not a scientific statement?
I understand that my claim that I detected the missing kidney is not backed up by formal evidence and that it is nothing but an anecdote. All I am saying is that it is my personal experience that is very compelling to me personally and that is the basis for my paranormal claim and that I have submitted for a test.

This particular subjective personal experience of medical perceptions has had correlation with real world information.

You have claimed this about almost all of your perceptions. I can't think of an exception, off the top of my head.

Referring to yourself making the same claim in another place is poor evidence. Bit circular, some would say.

See how easy it is to prove that your comment above is a lie? How do you think the media will handle it when you fail your demonstration? How do you think they'll write you up when they compare your claims to the plain truth readily available in black and white? :)
But GeeMack, I have not made paranormal claims throughout my life! I only made my first in July 2007!

In your apparent quest to surround yourself with all the attention you can possibly generate, you never gave a thought to how the media handles outrageous claims like yours? It's likely they'll roast you on a spit when you fail the demonstration. You might want to start preparing for that fifteen minutes of embarrassing fame already. :)
I am not doing this for attention, GeeMack. It is just that I have a paranormal claim that I want tested.

Well that's just too bad, isn't it? You've publicly solicited, in violation of California state statute I might add, for people who suffer migraines to meet you in Los Angeles so you can attempt to treat those migraines. Nobody is spreading a misconception about your position, other than possibly going a lot lighter on the reality of the situation than they probably should.
You know perfectly well that the only reason I am interested in attempting another migraine treatment with a Skeptic is to falsify the claim that a man makes that I induced a significant improvement in his migraine condition. It is funny how you all think I am the typical woo, when I am not! I am in fact trying to falsify a claim, but you can't see that because you have your mind set up about anyone who makes a paranormal claim.

A paranormal investigation that shows you don't really have the magical x-ray vision you claim? It's possible the IIG is setting you up to be an example of bogus psychic claims and how easily they are debunked.
And you know what, if that is what it is, I would be honored to set an example of that.

It might be you'll get a lot of really embarrassing media attention after you fail the demonstration. There will probably be a lot more people reading the threads here and at stopvisionfromfeeling.com, learning the truth about your claims, and realizing that bogus psychic healers are a dime a dozen, but real ones are non-existent.
I am not a psychic healer, I am a paranormal claimant.

I think your expectations disturb your perception of how things really are. Maybe volatile can refer you to the appropriate articles that describe how that happens.

Why even put "formal evidence" in your post? Your claim is backed by no evidence at all. As you posted yourself, this is just an anecdote. It is, however, a potentially embarassing and career destroying anecdote.

When I say "perception", it refers to a subjective personal experience, like an impression. I think you are interpreting the word in the way that you choose.

I have not made claims throughout my life.

*ahem*

I am more amazed that all of you can't perceive vibrational information and see inside human tissue. Why should I have to feel all excited about something that's been part of my everyday life for many years now? I'd be exhausted by now.

When I see cereal all my life and learn what it feels like, and then all of a sudden somebody comes up with the idea of putting Lactobacillus into cereal, that one is going to feel different and I detected it.

if I have this "superpower" it is one that I am used to and do not get really excited about. It's just a normal day in my life. And I've had it for many years now

They are examples of what I see. Why aren't you complaining because I think hydrogen is red? Out of my many different types of perceptions, medical perceptions are the only one that makes a paranormal claim that I am having tested. Everything else is just information to describe what else I experience, but not claimed to correlate with reality.

Absolutely not, because I did detect the missing kidney and I find it quite interesting that I did that. Why would it ruin my career that I detected that a kidney was missing?

A year and a half is not "for many years". Are you lying / mistaken now, or were you lying or mistaken when you previously claimed to have had these perceptions so long they have ceased to be interesting?
I have had the perceptions for thirteen years, but I made a paranormal claim two years and four months ago.

OK. And if you fail the IIG test, do you accept that your failure will suggest rather strongly that your previous perception is falsely imagined? You need to seriously re-think the use of the world "again" - the IIG test is not testing if you can do it "again", it's testing if you can do it at all.

That is very, very important and something you need to face up to if you're serious and honest about "falsification".

Have you read the literature on hindisght bias / confabulation / false memory? I've asked on numerous occasions but you've never answered. Yes or no.

Because more and more people have become aware of your claims since you've been getting publicity for the IIG demonstration. These people may use a search engine to find your website but they also see links to JREFF and the Stop Vision From Feeling website. Those people may read all of the outrageous claims that are documented here and neatly indexed on the Stop VfF site. The people looking at those claims may be fellow students, instructors at your Uni or potential employers. None of this bodes well for you.

I haven't got the time to point out the intellectual dishonesty of every one of your claims. Still the fact remains, if you need a disclaimer then there is no reason to publicize anything that you make up experience.

Your disclaimer states that the medical perceptions "are not based in reality" and "have not been proven correct." You have resisted all efforts to test many of your claims and have said that they were not important because they were not the main claim.

So what good are they and why are you making them public? Unsubstantiated nonsense isn't interesting to anyone.

Given two glass jars, one containing hydrogen gas and one containing oxygen, could you tell which was which just by looking at them?

If so, why are we bothering with the kidneys?

I suspect it's the same reason why she won't bother with the pill test. ;)

Jesus H. Christ, Anita, your comment was a lie...

I have absolutely not made a handful of paranormal claims throughout my life. I presented one paranormal claim in July 2007.

See? This is what we're referring to. Your insinuation that you've made one paranormal claim is a lie. You've made dozens. Remember your invitation...

Feel free to apply skepticism and call me a liar and a fraud.

Yep, still nothing to cause us to dismiss the conclusion that you're a liar and a fraud. Now will you answer this one, please?

Is your definition of failure like most of us consider failure, like when you aren't able to demonstrate that you actually have magical x-ray vision, or will it be like that class you failed and still claimed to have a 4.0 GPA? Maybe it will be like when you failed to see a guy's missing kidney with your magical x-ray vision, then claimed that you actually had seen it, but only after he told you about it later? What exactly will you accept as failure in this demonstration? How much waffling are you going to allow yourself, or expect us to allow, so you can claim you didn't fail (by your definition) after you actually do fail (by everyone else's definition)?

You see, if we don't know what definition of "failure" you're going to use until after the IIG show, you'll pretty much be able to warp the results into any sort of dishonest position you like, won't you?
