Great more spin from the activist news? Republican?...um...conspiracy site that initially declared Obama's Certificate of Live Birth to be authentic and then decided to change their minds after the election. Than went on to try to overturn the will of the people in electing Obama, and now funds stupid billboards all over the country.

Yep WND is somehow not a birther conspiracy site.

And it is up to Congress to deal with these issues, but unfortunate for the birthers there is no issue here. The COLB would be presented and that would be it, and honestly Congress has better things to do. Also the Republican members of Congress have better things to do than lose elections because they wasted time on a self evident issue like the simple fact that President Obama is a natural born citizen.

Garfield would be a great president in that his hatred of Mondays would lead to a longer weekend. Of course than Tuesday would be the new Monday, but I would look forward to lasagna Fridays.
 
I'm not an expert on the matter, but the article said he was an "associate" at the law firm. Is becoming a law clerk with a Judge a step up from associate at a law firm? It sounds like a bad carreer move for him.

My only experience with such things is John Grisham and "LA Law."

It isn't at all curious. The law is a community. People know people, people have former employers, and new employers. You realize that what you and wnd are suggesting is that this clerk somehow influenced the judge into siding with Obama because Obama had hired a lawyer who was employed by the same (large) firm that formerly employed the clerk?

And even more curious is that Wikipedia responded by removing the names of Carter's clerks from it's pages. :D

One of the only - if not the only - wp page for a US district court judge that lists all of his recent law clerks in table form. And they appear to have been put there by a sock-puppet of a banned wp editor... how far does this rabbit hole go?!?!

And by the way. ... did you actually look at the ruling? Essentially it boils down to this:

The court says Obama's eligibility should be resolved by Congress.

Congress says this issue should be resolved by the court.

So it's a Catch 22.

I did actually look at the ruling, and it doesn't say that "Congress says this issue should be resolved by the court. So what does that make this, a "Catch 11"?

Garfield the Cat isn't 35 years old, yet. He is currently 31 (June 19th, 1978). So he would still be ineligible for the 2012 election, since he would be a few months shy of 35 on Jan. 20, 2013.

Of course he has yet to produce a Birth Certificate.

Hell's teeth, this sets new standards for denialism. They're taking a statement from the director of the Hawaii State Department of Health that "I [...] have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai'i State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen", and trying to infer from that statement that there is some doubt as to whether the State of Hawaii has officially confirmed that Obama is a natural-born Americal citizen.

What's funny about statements like this is they don't seem to understand that if Barrack Obama was somehow removed from office (whether forcefully or through some miraculous find that he was indeed illigitimate that would spur impeachment) then Joe Biden would become President. They seem to believe if Obama was removed from office then John McCain would all of a sudden become President or Conservatism would be embraced. :boggled:

I remember reading birther comments from before Obama was sworn in, and there was this group of people that seemed to think that if they somehow proved that Obama wasn't legitimate that McCain would become president because he would be the runner up; very funny.
