Merged Orly Taitz's Obama birther lawsuit laughed out of court

I have an image of Orly in court in interrupting the judge, "Let me finish! Ok, ok, why are you so rude to me? LET ME FINISH!"

I suddenly pictured Orly as a Canadian from South Park there...

Come on folks this whole, birther, secret Muslim, commie, crap is code for "THEYS A NEGRO IN DA WHITEHOUSE"

Not really. Dismissing a case with prejudice does indeed mean "don't bother us with THIS crap again," but you can't prevent her from bringing a case that is nearly identical in content but with a different named plaintiff or a slightly different set of pleadings.

There are, what, a half million troops in the US Army, plus the other branches of service. In theory, she could file the same damn paperwork for every single one of them and they'd all be separate cases that would need to be disposed of ("dismissed") separately.

Well before that, she would be disbarred and sanctioned into a small greasy smear,.... I hope.

How many of those 500,000 are racists though? You would love to think her pool to choose from would be small.

You don't need to be a rascist to accept Orly's "help", you just have to not want to be deployed to Iraq. In the decision Judge Land notes that Captain Rhodes had no problems with the Commander in Chief while she was stationed in the U.S. She turned "birther" only after getting her orders.

Memory fades, but it seems to me that the conspiracy theories surrounding Florida and the 2000 presidential election eventually receded into the background of public and media attention. Sadly, I don't see this happening with open mic the media has given to the teabaggers and their onerous subset, the birthers.

But wait! There's more!

You all missed the later ruling where Judge Land legally changed Orly Taitz' name to Wharrgarbl.

Disbarred along with Cynthia Davis?

If true, this will get her disbarred (follow link to the affidavit):

Larry Sinclair: Orly Taitz Told Me to Lie, Claim That Obama Had People Killed

The affidavit that Obama foe Larry Sinclair claims to have filed in a California court, in which he accuses birther Orly Taitz of trying to get him to lie on the stand, is available right here. In it, Sinclair recounts being ushered into Taitz’s office and being told by her to “testify that three (3) member (sic) of Obama’s church were murder (sic).” Sinclair claims to have recoiled at this, at which point Taitz encouraged him to say it anyway.
...
Sinclair also implicates Cynthia Davis, a Republican state representative from Missouri, claiming that she was part of a previous meeting with Taitz that Sinclair attended. Lucas Smith, the Iowa man who has been shopping around a forged Kenyan “birth certificate” for Obama, also appears in the affidavit.

The problem is that Larry Sinclair is no more believable than Orly. They're like a two-headed coin of bat guano.

Things like this make you want to just shake your head.

I did catch the part and agree with the other poster who correctly noted that she didnt have all these "issues" until she got her Deployment Orders. OK, I dont like being deployed any more than anyone else but she isnt the first person to try and duck a deployment and wont be the last. I can at least understand her motivation- she didnt want to come here.

What I cant see is a real lawyer filing such a case the way it was constructed.

Just using logic- lets say you really believe there might be a case that Obama isnt a natural born citizen. Lets also say, hypothetically there even was some real circumstantial support for the issue.

Dont these people think that the Republican party and McCain specifically ( hell, even Hillary for that matter) would be all over it? I cant help but accept that they all probably looked into it for their own reasons and if there was even a shred of convincing evidence to shore up the claim- one of them would have acted on it

To paraphrase my Green Beret brother-in-law who just returned from his fourth combat tour: "**** that ****in' ****!!!"

She should be disbarred, plain and simple. Not because she's a nutcase (which she is), but because she is bringing clearly frivolous lawsuits and making a mockery of the judicial system.
