Considering that you have not read it, you are in no position to call a detailed report by qualified engineers a fairy tale. You will find, if and when you do deign to educate yourself, that the exterior walls were not "steel reinforced concrete" nor 18 inches thick. The exterior at the location of the crash was masonry and limestone, to which steel supports had been added.
They were glued on or something ?
