We in New York kicked the Dutch back to Holland. Clearly it was a very good move.

Actually it was the British who did it for you when Holland and England went to war in the 1660's. The Duke of York was the commander of the British Navy at the time. One guess why New Amsterdam got it's name changed to New York.

My great-Aunt, Leah Zimmerman, lost her first husband and 2 children at Birkenau. I don't know if they were gassed or starved to death..but they didn't make it out.

Around 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust and another possible 6 million Gentiles (including Germans) were also killed.

To deny this is to deny a horrible crime.

9/11 Investigator- there are around 6 million missing Jews. Where do you think they went?

there were around 18 million Jews on Earth b4 WW2. The world Jewish population has NEVER recovered to that number.

That plaque demonstrates the fraud (hoax) around the entire issue, including the IMT, a gang of criminals. However, that does not affect the estimation of Jewish victims.

Btw, the 1.5 million is now down to about 0.5 million (it takes a while until the plaque gets changed).

Well, get as comfortable as you like. However, the US has made it through the Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression... The current issues we face (that you linked to), while serious, are in no way an indicator of "the end of times."

Look, Parky, it is really difficult to discuss anything woth someone, who so grossly misunderstands the meaning of posts.

Brantc posted above that the earlier Auschwitz plaque stated, that four million people had been killed there, and that has been replaced with 1.5 million. This is true (and it is still a vaste exaggeration). Thus the earlier statement was a lie. Have a problem with that? Then don't spread it.

What on earth does that have to do with your aunt's family? Were they in excess of the 1.5 million, or what the hell is this rubbish?

well, according to 9-11 Investigator, no Jews are actually missing. There was an evil Jewish census conspiracy to inflate pre-WW2 Jewish population statistics.

of course, he has no proof of this...or which evil Jews are responsible for it. nor does he have a explanation as to all the relatives of the survivors went.

The majority of the people you mentioned also have average or below average intelligence (yes, that is an a priori statement). So that does not count for much. That is to say, what the majorty believes is not necesarily right because the majority say it or that less intelligent people are autmatically wrong. However, holocaust deniers go against the opinion (if I may call it that) of the majority -if not all- of intelligent, reasonable people who have studied the second world war in great detail.

This stinks like the post with "all reliable statistics support...". In other words: only those stats are reliable, which support my position, and only those are intelligent, reasonable people, who agree with me.

Only a tiny fraction of people studied WWII in "great detail". The vaste majority of historians are parrots. In how many publications have you read about soap made out of Jewish inmates?

Furthermore, those, who are studying history in great details, are not free to express what they found. Every dissenter is stamped immediately as Nazi, Anti-Semite (of course, being Anti-Semite is much worse than being Anti-Muslim or Anti-German or Anti-American).

Expressing dissenting opinion causes criminal charges in some states, punishable not only by fine but by inprisonment. This occurs regularly in Germany (Germans tend towards totalitarianism), in France, etc. Even in other countries the stamp "Holocaust denier" causes loss of employment and more.

So, saying that the "majority of intelligent... people..." in this relation is dishonest, to say the least.
