So, in a Stundie first June produced a three way tie. Their common thread, a tragic misunderstanding of science.

So, now, the main event.......
Teh 28th Annual Stundie Award Finals for July, 2009
1) It seems that now things are assumed to be "peer reviewed" until proven (ironically by the very act of "peer review") that they are not.
2) In this alternate universe very few people died during the 9/11 attacks. Presumably Chuck Norris is President as well.
3) Somewhere some Hollywood hack writer is using this premise to create something that will be utter crap and still cost $90 million to produce.
4) I'm guessing that thinking that language isn't "normal" is at the root of many problems in the conspiracy movement.
5) Somehow I think that when you are wandering through the desolate remains of civilization to find a cave where you can shelter from the hordes of mutant rabbit/dogs, and possibly find some scraps of rotting food, conducting a new investigation into 9/11 will seem like a pretty low priority.
6) Asking why, if something was done it hasn't been done is either the lamest attempt at sophistry ever or just a brilliant manifestation of "cunning edge" debate tactics.
7) It could also be that they just combined the primary colors of light and print but "parsimony" is blasphemy, apparently.
8) Lucky for the Queen iPhone just introduced the Murder by Bomb Fatality Estimator App.
9) At least we weren't asked to say "klunkity klunk" while clapping our hands. I mean we are "retards" after all.
10) If we pretend that chemtrails are both real and dangerous and that cigarettes aren't dangerous themselves this totally makes sense.

13) So the film studio in Nevada spontaneously lost gravity while filming the Moon landing? Did a "brown dwarf chunk" fly overhead?

15) Their first act better be to destroy any high school that uses "Wolverines" as a mascot.
16) Don't you hate it when the r disappears for no reason? Maybe it was destroyed in a crappy movie starring Hillary Swank.
17) It's nice to know that the way the world "is" has no connection with truth and reality. It gives those MMORPG's so much more credence.
18) I, for one, am appalled that NASA covered up our trip to Antares and, instead, pretended we only went to the Moon.
19) It takes a special individual to realize that vaccines can save your life but still refuse to take them because..................someone warned them? Isn't there a guy on the street corner warning people that Kraft Foods is stealing our thoughts?
20) It is impressive that you can use any number of arithmetic methods to get the one number you want. If only I'd been allowed to do that in school.

Cameras are designed to record light bouncing off objects. Thats what stars do, reflect light.

Man never set foot on the moon. If a Cessna 172 were in space would a spinning propeller have any effect on forward movement, or would the plane not move because of no air molecules?
A rocket may propel on earth, because it pushes against the earth or the air, in outer space, there is no air to push against, rockets are not effective in deep space.

If the sun’s light could reach "so-called" Mars as the photos from NASA depict, then our night skies would not be dark.
If the Earth was truly spherical then when the earth would spin on its axis away from the sun, the earth's skies would still remain lit-up. Think of it in this matter, when you walk into a room lit-up by a lamp, upon facing the lamp you have the light directly before you, and if you turned your back against the lamp the light would be no longer before you but the surrounding spaces of that room would still be lit-up, same would apply for the space earth is in.
