I don't think I have studied enough WW2 history to conclude much in either direction, but I just wonder if you consider this clip genuine or fraud..



..Hitler clearly threatens with annihilation of the Jewish populace in Europe here (if you consider it genuine), and add to this that holocaust was a secret police operation, so surely any documentation of these events will be sparse if it has occured?

In order to understand Eichmann’s defense strategy, consider his situation prior to the trial as a lawyer would have seen it. It was basically a political situation involving an Israeli determination to stage a show trial. ... from a lawyer’s point of view, the only hope of securing a favorable verdict (a prison sentence to be later commuted) depended upon world opinion developing so as to encourage Israel to temper its arrogance somewhat with a magnanimous gesture. However, the possibility of such an outcome depended upon presenting a defense whose fundamental acceptance by the Jerusalem court would have been within the realm of political possibility. Thus, just as with the Nuremberg defendants, Eichmann’s only possible defense under the circumstances was to deny personal responsibility.

Also, it is not at all clear that the Rosenberg actually contributed anything to the Soviet nuclear program and there are evidences that might suggest that the Soviet had already acquired it from other sources (including their own research efforts) by the time they got information from the Rosenbergs which, apparently, were of poor quality and limited interest anyway.

Difficult to know for certain even today but your blanket statement is just not accurate.

Amazing how Israel, founded in May 1948 could influence a trial that finished in the beginning of October 1946.

To be a better liar, you would require far more intelligence than you possess. Eichmann was on trial for his life. He never thought to deny the reality on which the charges against him were based.
