Morning Red, at least you're acknowledging the pictures, even if you're experiencing some cognitive dissonance which prevents you from accepting the real and obvious implications of them.
You didn't respond to my question yesterday, which was 'what do you think happened at Shanksville, and why?'.
I was trying to find out what possible reason one would have for clinging (as you and Bill apparently do) to such an odd myth, if I perceive it correctly, that no plane crashed at Shanksville.
What I don't understand is WHY it's so important for truthers to believe that there were no planes at PA and the pentagon, or even at the WTC towers, in order to believe in a government conspiracy. I guess one mistake I'm making is that I'm trying to assign some kind of rational, logical basis for these beliefs on your behalfs.
So I'll address this to the others - if one were to be suspicious of the US gubmint, why not just simply assume that 'they' set up the hijackers to crash the planes in the first place?
Instead, because the 'truth' movment became all-inclusive to all manner of wild speculation and misinterpretation, a kind of truther liturgy has emerged. Thus, a devotee of the truther cult is compelled to believe all sorts of clearly false and ridiculous myths, and will defend those myths in the face of irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
The last resort of the truther cultist is to deny such evidence by claiming it was faked or planted. Truthers are simply not equipped to handle the truth.
One can hypothesize that such unchangeable belief systems must have had some kind of survival advantage during human evolution. Maybe some people are incapable of resisting such compulsive beliefs, no matter how incorrect they are.
But if that is the case, it underlines the necessity of countering 9/11 truther myths as they appear in media, as there are obviously people out there who will buy into them on faith alone. That could be very dangerous given enough followers, esp. when you consider the NWO, anti-Jewish paranoid mantra that goes along with 9/11 'truth'.
Most of us recognize that flight 93 did in fact crash at Shanksville, because there's plenty of evidence to confirm it did. Bill and Red are followers of a cult which denies that it crashed, therefore they must deny it too.
It seems pretty obvious to me that this is cult indoctrination. Are there any specialists at deprogramming these cultists yet? If not there should be.
