Of course! It could have just innocently been some sort of crank call or a hoax. Happens all the time in a city the size of NY. Just add another coincidence that a 'crank' call came in that just happened to placed Naudet in the right spot at the right time with his camera running.

Man, you wanna see conspiracy under every rock, don't you? I mean every report of anything either has to be God's-honest-fact or a "some sort of crank call or a hoax". No middle ground, no honest mistake. That's the thread that seems to bind Truthers, that inability to recognise grey.

Fact of the matter is that neither you nor I know what that crew did or did not do as you weren't there. My off-hand guess would be a hurried check and there was no gas odour, attend to the biggest catastrophe to have hit NYC ever. Seems common sense.

But you want to impale yourself on Smacco's Razor and create a Rube Goldberg conspiracy to get the Naudets into a position to catch a fleeting shot.

You want that conspirary! You NEED that conspiracy! And if it doesn't exist, you'll make one up out of whole cloth! :bwall

I'm surprised a skeptic such as yourself would think that the odor of gas call was legit. They find anything? I'll bet they didn't. Perhaps you can provide proof that there was? The flip side, is that since foreknowledge has been proven, it makes your official conspiracy theory obsolete. What are you going to put your faith in next? The face on Mars?

So ... I take it that means your answer is "none". None of the firefighters have supported any claim that they were used as patsies to make a fake film, in order to get these two relative strangers in place to film the assassination of so many of their own friends, family and colleagues. No firefighter has come forward and said "hey - that was a terrible thing that was done, and I am appalled to realise that I was made a part of it by enabling these film makers to be in certain places on that day ..... I did find it mighty suspicious when they knew .... <well.... what did they know, that the firefighters didn't?>. They didn't even speak proper french, and for supposed brothers they didn't know much about each other ... "

Kind of puts a dent in your claim, doesn't it.


Another question - to film the impacts, why did they need to be with the firefighters anyway? They could have been any normal tourist on the street - like so many others were that day.

Throughout history various people and professions have been used as propaganda. Care to give us an example of righteous indignation from any of them? Or perhaps the psychology of propaganda is probably for another thread.

After reading the previous thread, I see that Ray Ubinger gave a compelling report of the numerous coincidences. Care to read it like I did?... Or just get some popcorn and watch the movie. Your choice. You don't have to convince me that coincidences run rampant in this flick.

I already own the "Naudets' 911 Commemorative Edition". I believe that it would be a good rental if you haven't seen it in awhile. Someone mentioned that it's on youtube? Probably inferior quality, but still watchable.

The movie itself is remarkable. Foreknowledge is demonstrated all over the place, beginning from the start and all the way through. These guys KNEW.

After reading the earlier thread, Ubinger and Leslie nailed it. Too bad I wasn't a member here when it took place, because it's the only thread that left gravy speechless. Not an easy feat because he seems to have answers, correct or not, about everything.

As an addendum to my earlier post, I do in fact believe in coincidences because (like it or not) they do happen. The most obvious one is that lotteries have winners even though you're more likely to be struck by lightning something like a half-dozen times than winning the lottery. Yet somebody beats those odds. And the odds of there being a cameraman in the streets of NYC are a lot better than that of being struck by lightning even once.

On a personal note, back in the day I went to film school, had a bunch of buddies who I lost touch with over the years. But a year or so ago, I ran into one of them again at the CBC Broadcast Centre in downtown Toronto. Big coincidence you say? You both went to film school. I went into television, he didn't. He ended up going into accounting in a non-television industry and is based out of Calgary. So what're the chances of that coincidental meeting after 25 years? And here's the kicker; we're both interested in the War of 1812 (North American version). What're the chances that out of a graduating group of 16 that at least 2 of the graduates (there may be more; I haven't stayed in touch) have developed an interest in the War of 1812, an interest that wasn't there as younger men? That's 2 out of 16 or 12.5%, well above the average. Coincidence? You be the judge!

I worked in a pizza joint at one time. The manager once called the fire department because he thought he smelled gas. The FD showed up, used their little "sniffer" and determined that there was no leak. Apparently, someone was in the back cutting up some particularly pungent onions, who's aroma was similar to natural gas. Doh!

Stuff like this happens all the time. People mistake a smell for the smell of gas. As others have shown in this thread what CAN happen if it really is a gas leak, people take the smell pretty seriously and report it. Mistakes can and do happen.

All of the "coincidences" you are referring to, is just your paranoid schizophrenic mind grasping for anything that can be construed or twisted in anyway possible to fulfill your delusional fantasies of the NWO. Are you taking your meds?

After the first 10 or 20 coincidences in this film it becomes quite clear.

Bill, I also noticed that when Jules first arrives at the north tower he claims there are people on fire. You can hear a woman screaming as he's entering the building. Truly a poor fabrication because once inside, the screaming is nowhere to be heard, the fireman greeting them at the door isn't over to help 'put them out', and there isn't even a wisp of smoke in the air. Funnier still, moments later when Jules pans around the lobby there isn't any smoke, no bodies, and the made up ruse continues.

Why you expect to continue the hear the screaming when Naudet immediately follows Chief Pfeifer to the other side of the lobby?

Also you lie, because as Naudet walks in you hear a fire extinguisher being discharged. There's the put out.

Wrong again. That WTC7 footage was actually filmed by CBS. If you had watched the film you would have noted that numerous bits of stock footage are used.

Considering the population density and size of Manhattan as well as the fact that the towers were nearly impossible to miss as a landmark in the immediate vicinity, it's akin to a shot gun blast. The bullet breaks up into innumerable beads ensuring that something hits. The towers were also the center of attention AFTER the north tower was struck and in effect the second impact that kreel disrespectfully refers to as "money shot #2" was "coincidentally filmed by just about everybody with a camera in that vicinity.
